Our sales representative MAURICE MARTIN did an all-around stellar job. He was informative, friendly and proactive, without coming across as pressuring us at all. I happened to pass Helms Bros. Mercedes on the way home from work and saw the car of my dreams for sale in their used car section. I figured it would be out of my price range but after talking with the use from work and saw the car of my dreams for sale in their used car section. I figured it would be out of my price range but after talking with the used car sales manager it started to look like I could afford the car. The nice part about the sales manager was that there was no presure to buy the car right away and he suggested that I go home, think about all my pros and cons concerning the car and he would talk to me in the next couple of days. The car was beautiful it only had 2000 miles and it was a 2001 SLK 320. I was told that the car was owned by a excellent coustomer who rarely drove the car and just bought another mercedes from Helms. Being in the law enforcement line of work I was able to locate the previous owner and confirmed evything that was told to me by the sales manager to be honest and accurate. Wow that was a sock considering what you hear about used car salesmen. It gets better when I went back we meet and discussed price and we were able to agree and I also was able to get a bumper to bumper maintenence contract for the car for 4 years or 100,000 miles and the car only had 2000 miles. I have had the car for almost a year now and never had a problem with it. I took it back to Helms bros. Service Dept. for a service check and the found three check points that had to be taken care of and they were all covered by my service contact. Based on my experience with Helms Bros., sales and service departments, I will spread the word that they are Honest Trustworthy and professional in maintaining the Intergrity of Mercedes Benz and their Dealership. I David Ramos, purchased a vehicle from Frank Marinaro. I initially made an appointment to meet with Frank to take a look at a vehicle advertised by Helms Bros. I was unable to keep my appointment because I initially made an appointment to meet with Frank to take a look at a vehicle advertised by Helms Bros. I was unable to keep my appointment because I was tied up in the office. A few days later, I received a very courteous return call from Frank following up with me to see if I was still interested in the vehicle and that the vehicle was still available. I apologized for not being able to keep my appointment. I rescheduled. Upon arrival, I observed he was writing up a customer which gave me enough time to locate the vehicle I was interested in purchasing (GLK350 BLK) and look the car over. I patiently waited being he was as understanding with me when I was unable to keep my appointment. Frank showed me the vehicle and explained all the features and answered all my questions. I was impressed at how professional yet personable he was with me. When I told Frank that I might potentially have a trade in vehicle. I was introduced to John Kunz. We were able to amicably negotiate my trade to a satisfactory number, even though initially, I was low balled on my trade..:). I was relieved afterwards, John shook my hands and said, "Congratulations on your purchase", from that point forward, I felt as though I knew Frank and John for years. They were great, friendly, professional, curious and guess what...I even got a Helms Bros. mug, a Duncan Donuts gift card, 2 Key Chains and a gorgeous Black on Black GLK350 Mercedes Loaded! I then called Frank a few days later because one of my belts was making a squeaking noise. He immediately made an appointment for me and the belt was replaced and I was treated with the utmost respect in the Service Dept. My experience from beginning to end was extremely pleasant! I have owned many Mercedes Vehicles and will certainly be back to Helms Bros for my next purchase…Thanks guys.....you are Awesome! More
The way Jeffrey handles his customers is beyond professional. He is very systematic, knowledgeable, and flexible. Also relentless but at the same time not pushy or overbearing what so ever. Throughout dealing with him, he's very calm and makes sure your comfortable especially offering beverages numerous times. When your in trouble with your vehicle, he is just a phone call away and willing to do whatever he can to help. He's easily the best salesman I've dealt with yet, and such a genuine person. I was recommened by a friend of mine to see John Kunz and Mike Nekava that they would take good care of me. Well it didn't take long before I knew that it was definitely going to happen. They showed me the cars that where in my price range and there it was a beautiful 2010 E350, white, the car called out for me and they heard it too. They where able to make it happen. The whole process was effortless on my behalf. Today I must say without a doubt that it is the best car I have owned so far and when its time, you know I'll be back to see them. For the longest time I have been juggling the idea of having my first car. Considering I lived many years in NYC the need for one never came up. But all that changed when I moved to Texas. Long story short, a car was needed and I had been doing my homework for some time. On my last visit from Texas I decided to walk in and check out the certified pre-owned vehicles at Helms Bros. To my surprise they had a very extensive collection of vehicles on display. While there I met Walter Blum from the certified pre-owned department. A very nice and helpful man, he answered any and all questions. During our discussion I had told him what I was looking for in a car. From there he directed to what is now my first car an E350 4matic. During the discussion and test ride I had told him that my schedule was short as I was flying out of New York the next morning. What happened next was simply amazing, considering the short window to operate I was able to finance, sign and become the proud owner of a Mercedes Benz in a matter of hours. But he was not the only other helpful individual that day. The sales manager John Kunz was extremely helpful that day as well, making sure all the paperwork checked out and that there would have to be little or no effort on my part. From mid-afternoon to closing these men and their staff made what most would consider impossible possible. As a result I am very pleased with my experience with Helms Bros and definitely recommend to give them a look if you are on the fence about a Mercedes Benz or a new car in general. I want to thank the hard working people at Helms Bros for all their time, patience, and assistance. As a side note if you live far out of state as I do shipping your new car would be the best way to go. The service that they use is top notch, very professional, and very helpful in giving updates to customers. More
After being tossed around by a NJ BMW dealership and told by another rival NY Mercedes-Benz dealership to come back when I "get serious," I decided to inquire about my purchase with Mercedes-Benz Helms Bros. by another rival NY Mercedes-Benz dealership to come back when I "get serious," I decided to inquire about my purchase with Mercedes-Benz Helms Bros. I called into Helms Bros. on the way to dinner and was put with Michael Nekava. Upfront I told him the vehicle I was looking for and the price that was quoted for me earlier (from another employee no longer with Helms Bros.), what options I wanted and he told me had it except the wood. I agreed to meet him the next day at 09:00 AM. I had driven the car already so I did not need to test-drive, he gave me a bottom line price. I asked him to look into changing the wood because I was willing to spend the extra money. Turns out changing the wood would cost approximately $4,000, knowing that the wood trim was important he came up with the most simple solution. "Don't worry, I'll find you this car with the wood you want." That commitment came through in 5 minutes as he located it while I was in front of him. I signed contracts right after this and put my deposit down. I am in the mortgage banking industry. I am a salesman as well, so I appreciate the respect of being upfront, honest and setting appropriate expectations. The car came through in the timeframe he laid out for me not only with the wood I wanted for an extra $800 (only because it came with illuminated door sills, what a plus!) but also he found the USB Cable I had asked about for my music (I was coming from a BMW which had the USB port). Hands-down, best car salesman I have worked with, this guy has my book of people who want a Mercedes-Benz for life. A great guy, upfront, honest and understanding. Michael, will not try to sell you into what's in the lot, he will get in the lot what you've sold yourself on already. The other reason why I give this place such rave reviews is their service department. Jesus, this place looks like where I'd go to open up an investment portfolio. Unbelievable the friendliness and professionalism of this service center. Everyone from the valets to the client advisors are top notch. Even the receptionists are great, not throwing you around back and forth for automated menu messages and the oh-so-common elevator music. I have stuck with the first client advisor I got, Patty Kim. I have had to see Patty on multiple occasions due to the terrible roads and potholes in New York. Every visit I have had, she has set my expectations on when to realistically expect the car to be ready. If I had to get to my office, she'd arrange transportation to and from. Due to the amount of claims on my tire insurance, an adjustor had to come to the dealership to get check the legitimacy of my claim, understandable. That being said she could not get me my car back that night, she not only took the time to arrange transport for me back to Helms Bros. but got me a courtesy vehicle as well. Patty Kim is A+ in my book. Unfortunately, I had to go back to the dealership a week later due to another flat. Patty was on vacation this time so I was referred to Andy Lin. Another great client advisor, friendly, understanding and efficient. For someone strolling in on a Saturday without an appointment, they resolved the issue quickly and with little wait time. I don't mind waiting because the staff here is so great, you can chat away with them for hours. I would gladly purchase cars from here until I'm dead because the service you get is just that great. Even the service manager Teresa Noto, took the time to introduce herself, in which I told her how much I praise her colleagues. Mercedes-Benz is a luxury automobile and like most things luxuries, they come with great service. Do yourself a favor, if you want a true Mercedes-Benz experience, have it with Mercedes-Benz Helms Bros. More

He entertained all options that will save us money but make us happy. I will definitely recommend Helms brothers to anyone who wants to buy a Benz and If i do decide to get into another, there is no other place to get one but Helms. More
