I went to this dealer as I was in the market looking for a glk-350. My husband called dealer and scheduled appointment. I had done my homework on this car and had "build" it up with options that were allow a glk-350. My husband called dealer and scheduled appointment. I had done my homework on this car and had "build" it up with options that were allowable and possible to do. On first day all went pretty smooth with Mr. Chen. Helms checked their inventory and said that based on the options I wanted, I would need to wait one month as they were locating one. So based on this information I went ahead began paperwork and met with Mr. Rosa to discuss all necessary financials. I left from dealership excited and happy that I would get my new car by or before Christmas. In the meantime, myself and my husband would call Mr. Chen to follow up with progress of car. I was told that it was coming along and was assured I would get it by the agreed upon date( I then responded good since it was going to be my birthday/Christmas gift from my husband). Time quickly approached then on one of the calls place to follow up on status was told that there was gonna be a delay as car and not been located from another dealer, instead from Germany. On December 28, 2012, my husband was called and informed that car was in and ready for pick up. However, within few hours was called back and informed that it had been a mistake the car that had arrived in was for another buyer. They made all kinds of apologies, but I felt that they had misled me and it appeared trouble was brewing. Long story short, I did get my car 12/31/12 with lot's of issues. All I can say is in life we have "one chance to make a good impressions". Hope all deals for perspective/future buyers will go great! More

Mercedes Benz located in Bayside,Queens NY Hello, I'm writing to let everyone know about the wonderful buyers experience I had at Helms Bros. Mercedes Benz located in Bayside,Queens NY 11361. I have purchased many cars over the years. I have never had such a pleasent time from the moment I was greeted on the showroom floor, to the time it came to signing on the dotted line. Even then it didn't stop there. Peter Fearon was my Sales Consultant and not one time was there any pressure placed on me at anytime. Peter was very knowledgable of the vehicle I purchased. Black Mercedes Benz E350 4 Matic Beautiful Car. He took the time to go over all the extra options installed in the car and this all before I even went on a test drive. Peter answered every queistion I had and beleive me I had quit a few. Now we all have been to car dealers where Salesmen do and say whatever they need to do and say to make a sale not at Helms Bros. Peter was never pushy allowing me to have as much time as I needed. I live in Washington, D.C. Peter held the vehicle for me a few days without requiring me to make a deposit. Something that almost nevers happens. All he wanted to know was what day was I driving up to see the car and he would take care of the rest. After the test drive I was sold then came the time for financing. Three weeks after I purchased the car I received a phone call from Peter live and in person (Not a Automated System) I thought he was calling me to let me know my tags had come in he told me he was just calling to see if everything was OK with the car. I just received a hand written holiday card in the mail from Peter wishing me a Happy Holiday Season and still thanking me for me bissness some three four months ago. John Kunz was the finance Manager I had the pleasure of working with, and I'll be honest with you John is truely cut from a different cloth. John was totally up front with me from the start he told me what he could and couldn't do. He didn't try to forced a whole lot of unwanted extras on me he did his job, when I declined he left it alone. I told him what I was able to pay he told me "I'm not going to promise you I can do that but I will do everything in my power to make it work". To my surprise he was able to get me just a little over the numbers we talked about. Couldn't belive it! I could not believe it, I was amaze truely amazed, I had already had my mind set to leave the dealership as soon as he came back to tell me he could not do what I was asking. He even told me before he left he didn't think the figures I was asking for would work. But John made it happen. He even allowed me to keep the car I drove to Helms Bros. from Washington, D.C. at the dealership free of charge until I was able to make it back up to the dealership. I came to pick up the car I left behind I was sitting in the waiting area waiting for someone in the restroom John walked past and remembered me by name without me or anyone else reminding him of it. He asked me if was I looking for Peter and if everything was going well with the car. He told me they were still waiting for the new plates from the DMV in Washington, D.C. and that I would get a phone call from them as soon as they were in and If I needed anything before then to give him a call. All of the Helms Bros. Employees I came in contact with just had a pleasing ora about them. Customer Service is something Helms Bros. prides themselves on and you can really tell it's genuine. Helms Bros. Mercedes Benz Upper Management must send all there employees to a course that teaches them that every person that walks through that front door is wearing an invisible shirt that reads I'M IMPORTANT NOTICE ME! A course that John Kunz and Peter Fearon obvious pass with flying colors. Keep up the great work Helm Bros. Thanks again Peter and John! More
