From the initial contact with Andrea on the car, to negotiations with John and pickup of the car at the dealership with Peter, it could not have been a more pleasurable experience. Andrea first determined my interest in the car and John and I arrived at a sale price in very short order. John provided pictures of the car amongst the Mercedes on the show room floor and Andrea followed thru with all the paperwork necessary to have with us when we picked up the car. She also handled contact with our insurance company to get that in place. When we arrived at the dealership, Peter met us and showed us the car, which was clean and detailed, ready to go with a full tank of gas. (Professional touch as we had recently purchased an expensive Durango for my wife and the dealer had sent us on our way with half a tank). Peter completed all of the turn over documents with us, brought the car around front and made sure we had good directions for our return trip home, as well as a Helms gift package. Later that night, I received a call from John and Peter to ensure we had made it home with no problems, and that we were happy with our purchase. During this week, I received a followup call from a young lady to confirm everything was fine. Marlon was also very thorough in his description of all of the features in our ML350 after we bought the car, which is a huge plus because car infotainment systems can be pretty complicated nowadays. John, the Pre-Owned Sales Manager is also very pleasurable to work with and got us a great deal on our car while keeping us entertained with his intriguing stories throughout the often a long and tedious process of buying a new car. Adam, our finance guy is also a great guy. He is very knowledgeable about cars and quickly took care of our financing needs. One of the best experiences you can have at any dealership I have been to many dealerships in my life and have purchased close to 30 cars. I was helped by Evelyn Chin whom was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and not pushy. She made me feel as I was part of a family and to be honest for quite a few years I have been very hesitant to purchase a Mercedes due to some past experiences. Selecting a vehicle was sensational, the paperwork process was smooth and the delivery was phenomenal. This is the first time I have purchased a vehicle at Helms though I have been here in the past to take a look at vehicles and quite a few times for service. Our purchase of a preowned Mercedes from Helms Bros was a pure delight from the very beginning. I highly recommend our sales person Evelyn Chin for her knowledge and courtesy throughout the transaction. Matt Lunetta offered us an extended 2 year warranty that made us feel even more confident with our purchase. By the way, the preowned showroom is spacious and inviting. We also dealt with Sean Savage who also was extremely courteous and the service manager Richard Grein who was not only very professional but extremely passionate about his job. It's good to find a service manager who cares about his customers. He really does care. We look forward to his assurances in the future. We were also very pleased to meet John Kunz the preowned GM and Suzanne Cochrane who is the Helms Bros GM. They were both extremely gracious and more than helpful with our purchase and service. On top of Evelyn being an excellent, thorough, and honest car dealer, she is genuinely a sweet person. She made it her personal goal to explain all the in’s and out’s of my lease agreement to me and my co-signer, which was very helpful considering this was my FIRST car ever! She kept in constant contact with me and answered every and any question I had regarding the entire process and the vehicle itself. Evelyn made sure I was comfortable with my decision through the whole time and never rushed me to do anything. She was very respectful of my time and was able to request all the required paperwork from me prior to the final signing so that I was able to leave within a very short amount of time after arriving. To make the experience even better, I purchased my car Easter weekend and upon receiving my car keys Evelyn presented me with a very cute Easter basket, filled with a chocolate scented bunny- which I love!- and lots of good chocolate :).
