In April I had some warranty work done by this dealership which included an electrical short, window motor and a inner axle support bearing. Shortly after I went to check my fluids when I noticed my brake fl which included an electrical short, window motor and a inner axle support bearing. Shortly after I went to check my fluids when I noticed my brake fluid cap was off just setting aside. I tried to put it back on but realized the cap was broke. I called them right away and of course they denied ever touching it. Then my abs light and break light came on and I took it to a mechanic. When they diagnosed it it was the abs wheel sensor on the same side they had repaired the wheel bearing. O.k so no big deal things go bad. But when they took off the wheel that sensor was zip tied to the upper control arm and the bolt had been broken off inside. Also when they changed the wheel bearing they used the same lock nut and didn't lock it. Which I was told can be dangerous. I understand that thing arise while repairing vehicles but this should not have been left this way. Nor be something I now have to pay for since my warranty is expired. I know they will deny doing anything of the sort. The zip tie was new so It couldn't have been from 3 years ago when my brakes were done. Also I would have thought that if the mechanic seen something like that they would automatically bring it to your attention. I always thought that bringing your car to the dealer for repair was best but after this experience I'm not sure. More

Long version: After requesting several online quotes for a Mazda CX5 from local dealership I knew that it was not going to be easy. Prior to this, I have purchased several Mazda before through the internet manager and the process was transparent without any hiccups; everything was detailed. This time I was really shocked because the quotes I received for the CX5 were really vague. I requested more detail but I was not going anywhere. That is when I decided to expand my search radius. That is when I saw that John Hine in Temecula Mazda had a CX5 model I wanted despite that they are 75 miles away from my location. I asked for an online quote and I received one in about an hour. Jason was the internet manager who sent me the quote. Like others there was just the price plus taxes and title. Most online quotes include rebates to make the price more attractive. So I ask for more details like price breakdown, etc. Jason responded while other dealers remained silent. Jason assured me that this was his discounted price. No were hidden fees, no manufacture incentives. It was just the price of the vehicle as equipped. I did qualify for customer’s loyalty incentive because I also own an Mazda 3. He added that into the calculation. Even he matched and beat another dealer’s quote. At the end we compared out of the door prices and I was really close to his final cost. I accepted his offer (Wednesday) but I could not be in until Friday. My only problem was on that day I did not have a ride back home. So Jason offered to have someone from their team follow me home to drop off the CX5 then ride back to the dealership to pick up my old car. This is what I call going above and beyond. At the end, I was able to have my brother-in law to come with me. I did not meet Jason in person that day because he was not schedule to be in later in the afternoon. Carlos and Pete were aware that I was arriving that morning. And they made sure that the process was smooth as possible. At the end I, met Katie from finance to finish the paperwork. She reviewed every line item to make sure that there were no mistakes or questions. Everything went so smoothly that I was out driving home with my new CX5 after one and half hour since my arrival. This dealership has relaxed environment compared to other dealership. At the end, I am really happy the way that John Hine Temecula Mazda treated me. I will definitely recommend John Hine Temecula Mazda. And when time comes to replace my older Mazda 3, I will not hesitate to go there again. More
I brought my MX-5 in for an annoying rattle that was making my commute miserable. Kristina said they would take a look at it, along with a tune-up. Easily the most painless car buying experience ever! Could have tried to get some local dealerships to match his bid but he and Carlos were so easy and straightforward to deal with it was worth the 40 mile drive. And Katie made the payment & financing process quick and painless. The whole process from the time I arrived to the time I had the keys was about 30 minutes! Definitely the best way to buy a car if you know exactly what you're looking for. More
Took our daughter's Mazda 3 in for routine servicing a few weeks ago. Three days later her a/c went out. We couldn't schedule a time that was good for us and Temecula John Hine to get it repaired, so we t few weeks ago. Three days later her a/c went out. We couldn't schedule a time that was good for us and Temecula John Hine to get it repaired, so we took it to another Mazda dealer in our area. They told us her ac ran out of the necessary fluid to run the unit. They also mentioned all her other fluids were low. We thought that was odd, she just had it serviced a few day prior and her car doesn't have any leaks, it's a relatively a newer car. Our only conclusion is that the service department didn't do their work properly, the work we paid for. We bought our daughter's car at Temecula John Hine or son bought his there as well, we are pretty loyal consumers. We have had nothing but poor customer service since. We are in the market fora Mazda CX-9. We won't be going to Temecula John Hine for buy it. More

Another Mazda dealership offered the price we wanted, and these guys asked us to get proof from them, a Went there to purchase a new mazda3 car. Another Mazda dealership offered the price we wanted, and these guys asked us to get proof from them, as long as we have proof of the other dealership they will honor it. We did everything they asked us, and still argued with us that they couldn't lower it for $200!!! seriously!? and while we were there, we wanted to talk to Ryan Hart, but Carlos Leos and Carlene Dempster were bad mouthing us. quoted Carlene dempster, "driving to Redlands is already your $200 right there haha!" Unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. Carlos was also bad mouthing, while i was talking to ryan he kept interrupting and he said hes gonna pull out the ratings to show us, and prove we are wrong, but we were not even talking to him; DISRESPECTFUL! This dealership told us to get the better quote and they will price match, we did exactly that and still WOULD NOT honor it. Our experience from this dealership was the worse out of all dealerships we have been to. I HOPE this gets out to future Car buyers, and i really hope this helps them keep them on the look out! because i seriously DO NOT want you to experience what me and my fiance had to go through! More
Buying a car is usually one of those necessary evils which I know I'm going to hate and wish was over before it started!! We were looking at buying a used Ford Mustang GT which would have necessitated a 65 mile drive to Temecula Mazda. Much to our surprise (and delight!) Carlene made the whole process quick, pleasant and stress-free. She absolutely 100% went above and beyond our expectations of service and way above what we have experienced with any other dealer. She was friendly and informative and proactive in helping us with photos which she texted to us but not in any way aggressive or pushy. Unfortunately we decided not to complete the transaction on this occasion because the available car was not quite what we wanted, but we wanted to write a recommendation based on the fact that we were so impressed with Carlene's level of attention and service. (People are usually very quick to complain but not so forthcoming with praise). Carlene absolutely deserves praise for how she did her job in helping us and kudos to the dealership for retaining employees who care about their client base. You deserve repeat business and I certainly will recommend to any friends who are in the market for a new or used car. GREAT WORK! More

I requested a quote over the internet for a particular Mazda3 trim package. Carlene responded rapidly with the information I requested. We exchanged several emails as she answered my questions. The quoted price was excellent with no hidden "fine print" or costs as with some internet sales quotes. For personal reasons I did not purchase the car from her but I highly recommend Carlene and Temecula Mazda!! If you know the car you want, ask Carlene for a quote!! More
