DON’T KNOW HOW TO CLASSIFY THIS EXPERIENCE. Is it because I’m female? because I’m a black female? price gouging? or simply unethical or all the above?!! I called Pat S. Last week, (he has been my Rep for the past 2 years) I noticed the tread on one of my tires was low. He asked me to stop by so that he could take a look and order the tire. I stopped by on Monday April 5th, Pat S. Was out for the day, Jacob (service rep) came out to “help” me. Jacob looked at my tires, I asked him if my car was safe to drive after he assessed the driver front inner tire was very low, he recommended that I leave my car there, he would order the tires. Jacob went to his office, came back out with his quote sheet. He told me “ the tires you have on your Levante are on back order and will not be available for a month!! there is another tire available, but, it doesn’t last as long” I asked “how much is this tire” his response “ it’s about the same, may be a little less”. Jacob had the quote already written out...4 tires around $2080.00 and an alignment would be $1,120.00. I had paid around the same amount for the tires( which now I know I was price gouged in the past) I wasn’t shocked. I told Jacob the alignment is three times more than I paid last year?? Why?? He told me that Maserati is now requiring a calibration when you get an alignment. I asked “ what are you calibrating?? He explained it would be the cameras, electrical blah blah blah... I was confused 🤷🏼♀️ I told him I had gotten and alignment last year, when did it change? He said around August of 2020. He continued to say...This is a new requirement, that we must do when you get an alignment. I left there feeling I had no choice. Later in the evening I called another Helfman Maserati, (where I purchased my car) and spoke with the service manager, I asked him how much is an alignment for a 2019 Maserati Levante? He asked the qualifying questions ( has there been damage to anything etc...). I explained that I needed to get 4 new tires and I would also need an alignment. Micah quotes me $300.00 🤔. I called Jacob, told him, I called another Helfman and I was quoted what I paid last year!! Jacob then started back pedaling and said “ it’s recommended”. I said “you did not explain to me that it was was recommend or optional” you said to me “ Maserati made the change mid last year and the cost is $1120.00”. I told him, Just get my tires, don’t do an alignment. “ if customer service is a priority, I’m sure they record their calls, I invite them to play the recording” As I rehearsed the conversation I remembered a past encounter with Jacob, again Pat was out and Jacob came out to “help” me. I was in a loaner car. I was sitting in my car as Jacob walked around the car and mysteriously there was a fresh scratch🤷🏼♀️ (Let me say, I’m not accusing Jacob of scratching the car but I went back to the car wash and looked at their cameras of the car going through the war wash, close up and there was not a scratch. I left the car wash and went straight to the dealership to drop it off) however, I paid for the damages but it never set well with me. I digressed, sorry. I arranged to have a tow truck pick it up and deliver to A different Helfman. I called Jacob to let him know, I didn’t feel good about our encounter yesterday and don’t want them to do any work on my car, I’m arranging to have it picked up. I called back to speak with Caleb (service manager) I told Caleb I was coming to pick up my car please get my key I don’t want anyone else to have it; he agreed. I arrived, spoke with Caleb, he gave me the breakdown (of no work done) and had someone bring my car. CALEB NEVER asked me ONE question! My car arrives at the other Helfman. I was quoted on the SAME TIRES @ $285.00 each they could have them in 3 days!? (No back order for 1 month) I also got an alignment for $300.00. I picked my car up yesterday and paid $1,761.51 total. At HELFMAN MASERATI HOUSTON, I would have paid no less than $3,100.00? Your Response PLEASE!? More
I was contacted by Ann Trakham after submitting our finance application on a new Alfa Romeo Stelvio for my wife. We already had a sales person, Luis, and knew which car we wanted. Realizing I'd have to negotiate with Ann, I instinctively ran a google search on her name to see who I was dealing with and came across the reviews on this site. Yikes.. some harsh reviews on the dealership and on Ann. A bit leery, I moved forward with the transaction and I'm pleased to say my wife and I were treated professionally by everyone at Helfman Alfa. I even waited 2 weeks after our car delivery to make sure everything processed out as it was supposed to before writing any reviews. I'm sure YMMV but I got a good deal and a beautiful car. Luis / Kurt / Ann and Brandon did a good job. More
Ann Trakhman is the worst salesperson / person I've ever met I went to Helfman with 'cash in hand' knowing exactly what I wanted to buy. I should have been the easiest customer ever for them. However, after 30 I went to Helfman with 'cash in hand' knowing exactly what I wanted to buy. I should have been the easiest customer ever for them. However, after 30 minutes of their manager Ann Trakhman insulting me and my family I decided I would rather drive an extra 3 hours to the next closest Maserati dealership than purchase here. This is a service-based business, and I when purchasing my first 'luxury' vehicle, I expected better service than I would receive at say, a Honda dealer. However, I got the exact opposite from Ann. I did, buy a new Levante from the Austin Maserati dealership and spent an extra 6 hours in the car, but at least I know Ann didn't get a cent in commission. I pray that someone above her at this store reads this and rectifies the situation there. No matter what I will never be a customer, but maybe they can still gain some other new customers who haven't been tainted by working with her. More
Never buy a car from this dealership. Wish I could give them ZERO stars. Do not under any circumstances even think about buying a car from this dealership. Based on my experience and IMO, the sales staff is extremely inexperienced and the sales manager is providing unbelievably poor coaching to them. Unless you drive up in a Ferrari they will treat you condescendingly and talk to you as if you are a 16 yr old kid with a minimum wage job who knows nothing about cars and has no driving experience. Even if you actually bother to call them out on it and point out their MASSIVE mistake they still won't apologize or do ANYTHING to try and EARN your business. Go ANYWHERE else to buy a car besides this dealership. We’re a 48 yr old couple who are very experienced high horsepower car aficionados, each have credit scores over 800, a 2 million dollar home that’s paid for, and walked in having researched the car and with the money to literally pay for it on the spot. If they treated us this poorly then they’ll treat ANYBODY that way. Based on my experience and IMO, the sales staff/management are both incompetent and outright condescending. Spend your time and your money elsewhere. More

I was attended by Josue Guttierrez and he made me feel right at home, he worked his magic and walked me through the financial steps of getting my car. Overall the entire staff seemed very friendly and welcoming, I can guarantee that they care about all of their customers and are very dedicated. Despite the friendly environment, and ease of understanding what your financial life will be like in getting your car I really thought it was essential that most of their staff is bilingual. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a car. More
