Bad service experience I brought mr Highlander in for a scheduled service appointment for a leak found during a routune service. Dropped off vehicle on Monday. I had to call every day asking the status. I finally picked it up on Friday after being told it was done. I was not able to talk with anyone regarding the work was done. Just got the key from the cashier. Upon returning home I noticed large puddles under my vehicle. Never had any noticeable leaks before service visit. Overall very bad experience and left me with no trust in this dealership. More

Flexible appointment times, but improvement needed I appreciated the ease of making an appointment with Heiser Toyota. They were able to get my car in on a day and time that worked for me, and provided I appreciated the ease of making an appointment with Heiser Toyota. They were able to get my car in on a day and time that worked for me, and provided me a ride to and from work so I wouldn't have to miss any time at work for the service I needed. The shuttle drivers were both very polite and the service associate who ended up getting my information in the system and checking me out at the end of the day was polite and quick. However, there was a gentleman at the service center when I first arrived that was acting very erratic and was complaining about how many cars they got in that morning and that they were short staffed and basically talking in a way that was stressing out myself and the customer ahead of me. We both asked him to take a deep breath and to calm down - that neither of us was in a hurry - but it didn't make things any better. More

Fast, but Heiser is not going out of their way to help me. Working with Heiser on a warranty claim, but it has taken months with little help from Heiser. It was not until Toyota Motor got involved that there was any help from Heiser. Even now, with most of my dash missing, Heiser is not really interested in helping me. I have been very patient, but my patience is wearing thin. I wish Heiser was working for me. They are ambivalent, and that is frustrating. I wish you had a place to upload photos so I could show you the dash of my Highlander. Heiser removed the screen, but now I have no heat / cool / vent control / defrost.... I do not feel that it is safe to drive the car at this time, so I am driving my wife's car. More

It is a long lead time, sometimes several weeks out to get the included toyota care maintenance done on the car. The customer service up until this point was decent, but when we tried to take our car in for the final, 25,000 mile service (we were at 28,000 miles at the time), we were denied the included oil change because "we were past 25,000 miles". My wife tried to argue, but the service rep was adamant. Further, Toyota Siennas have been having issues with the rear sliding doors not stopping and reversing when an obstacle is sensed in the path while closing. We went in for our free checkup for this, as the doors almost closed on the abdomen of our 2 year old daughter. The door DID NOT stop when it started pinching her, nor did it stop when I grabbed the door and pulled back. I had to pull the door handle to activate the motors in reverse. Of course, they couldn't replicate the issue in the shop, and so nothing was done to remedy the issue. I suppose Toyota is going to have to get sued several times before they will actually take any real action. Look, I love my Sienna, it is one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. My problem is with the service center not honoring a contract because we were past the recommended mileage AND the lack of concern regarding what could become a serious issue with the sliding door issue. Get your act together and treat the loyal owners the same way you treat the people initially buying your products. More

Prior to my arrival, my file was located in the system and was reviewed. Sitting down with a representative, I was first informed there was a recall on an airbag I was not aware of. The part was in stock, so they offered to replace it that same day. Waiting for my car to be serviced, the service representative I was working with came out & mentioned my brakes needed to be replaced. I was told exactly what needed to be done & the cost. It was mentioned that I could have the brakes replaced that same day, with an extended wait time of appx. 30 minutes... My car was serviced & ready to go within 90 minutes. Excellent service. I will definitely be recommending Heiser Toyota's service center to others. More

Forgot to tighten valve caps Normally great service. I brought my Highlander in for a oil change. They also check and fill tires if needed. I found out about 4 days later that the Normally great service. I brought my Highlander in for a oil change. They also check and fill tires if needed. I found out about 4 days later that the valve stem covers on all the tires were completely loose. I knew because one was missing and then I checked the rest and found out they were all the way loose. I had to take my Highlander back in and have the tires rechecked and they replaced all my caps. Thank you for that. I wasn't happy at first, but you redeemed yourselves. It just had seemed like the job wasn't all the way complete at first. I always get great service from Heiser Toyota and appreciate! More
