Service was prompt which I appreciated since I waited for my car. It was just a routine Oil Change and Tire Rotation. Just one minor issue, the technician forgot to reprogram the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sys my car. It was just a routine Oil Change and Tire Rotation. Just one minor issue, the technician forgot to reprogram the Tire Pressure Monitoring System so a couple of days later the dashboard indicator showing a low tire pressure was displaying the incorrect location of the low tire. Took vehicle in for recall on a Monday. Came to pick it up same day. Vehicle wasn't ready. Matt apologized for the mistake in not calling. He called Tuesday to say it wasn't ready. Went to pick it up after work when service was closed and was told I had to pay money. Talked to sales manager about it. He said he would call the next day to help. No call. I called Matt, he apologized and fixed it. Said I would get a coupon for a free oil change. Went to pick it up again on Thursday Matt was on lunch. No coupon. 30 minute drive each way, 3 different days to finally get my car back. Ask for a car wash also which Matt says they do after service and it was still dirty. More
This is the 2nd winter in a row that my lug nuts were put on with an impact wrench set to high, I had a flat tire 2 days after my service, luckily I made it home to my garage, I would have never been able to on with an impact wrench set to high, I had a flat tire 2 days after my service, luckily I made it home to my garage, I would have never been able to change the tire on the side of the road. I enjoy changing my oil and rotating my tires in the summer, I set my lug nuts at the factory spec 140 ft. lbs. I will not be returning to Heizer for any additional service and when I purchase a left over 24 or new 25 Silverado this fall it will not be from Heizer. Luckily being in Mayville, I'm centrally located amongst other dealerships. I will be sending Heizer a copy of my bill of sale on my new truck along with a copy of this text and a letter of explanation to help your Service Dept. in the future More
