Happy customer I was very pleased with our salesman and the rest of the people who helped me to lease my car. Finance Department Most of my experience was good, however, I was disappointed with the finance department - it took almost 2 weeks to get my paperwork over to Rhinebeck Most of my experience was good, however, I was disappointed with the finance department - it took almost 2 weeks to get my paperwork over to Rhinebeck Bank. I know I bought my vehicle on a Saturday 7/29 and I had dropped off my title to my old Hyundai on Sunday 7/30. My paperwork for the loan did not get to the bank until Thursday 8/10 - I know this because I kept calling the bank to get my loan number so that I could refinance the loan to my Credit Union, which gave me an interest rate of 1.99% as opposed to Rhinebeck's rate @ 5.49%. I needed this information to give to my Credit Union. I had called and left a message for Mark on 8/9 (he never called me back) then on 8/10 I spoke to Joe who in turn told me that the paperwork wouldn't be sent to the bank yet as it was a fairly new loan and hadn't been funded yet and they needed an insurance binder from my Ins. Company - I got an email from my Insurance company saying they had sent over the binder on 8/3. I then asked if he could just give me the amount that I'm trying to get financed through my Credit Union and he said no that it was in process and it should be send to the bank either Monday 8/14 or Tuesday, 8/15, although he said he would try to get it done that day 8/10. I found this to be unacceptable and I needed to get the information to my Credit Union. Why does it take almost 2 weeks to get paperwork from the dealership to the Bank? While all systems seem to be automated these days - I just found that this should have been handled faster than it was. More
