Another thing I like and have used is Freindly Fords loaner vehicle program, when my vehicle is in for service, I find this to be a great incentive. More

First Disappointment On Monday 7/30/2018, i brought my 2016 Ford Taurus in to the dealer without an appointment for an oil change, balance/rotate tires and to have the bra On Monday 7/30/2018, i brought my 2016 Ford Taurus in to the dealer without an appointment for an oil change, balance/rotate tires and to have the brakes checked.. I was experiencing significant vibration when applying the brakes. My service writer was Parella. Parella explained that he had a full service schedule, but i was willing to leave my car. On Thursday 8/2/2018, Parella called me to advise my car was ready... they found that the rotors were warped and instead of replacing them i was told that they could resurfaced or cut because they were thick enough to do so.. i go to dealership to pick up the car and Parella had left for the day, but i teat drove the car before accepting it. I found the wheels to still feel out of balance / my front left car speaker barely working and the brakes no longer had vibration. I asked one of the other service writers to come out to my car who confirmed the speaker was not operating correctly, and he said he would pass on my concerns to Parella in the morning.. In turn, i left the car at the dealer again. Parella knee (The next day I was driving this car from NY to the Carolinas). The next morning, Friday, 8/3/2018, Parella called to advise my car was ready. I test drove the car and it felt better, but the brakes felt weaker and they made a howling noise. The car speaker was now fully functional. I had to get on the road so i took the car. (I was told the wheels were balanced but there was no mention of it on the invoice.). The balance did feel better the second time i drove the car. After driving 859 miles to Charleston SC I didn’t feel comfortable with what my brakes were doing...noise and poor performance. I took the car to Jones Ford and told them my story.. they assessed the car and stated that i needed new rotors... they felt that Friendly Ford probably should not have resurfaced the original rotors, because they were too thin. I am now driving the car and it is finally fixed...correctly. I have been very satisfied with past visits to Friendly and with Service writer Parella so i was and am greatly disappointed with incident. You don’t cut corners on safety! I will continue to go to Friendly Ford but now be very suspecting regarding their integrity. I hope they don’t disappoint me again. More
