Madwoman, we certainly empathize with the frustration experienced during your visits to our Service Department in October and continuing into this month. As Jose explained to you this past Monday, November 12 when you picked up the Accord, the American Honda Florida Technician, Eric, determined that our technician overfilled the oil during the oil change. This caused the Accord, with the advanced technology, to go into a “protective” mode and throws codes that aren’t reflective of the actual issue. We apologize that for the inconvenience to you with the repeated trips to the department, but your 2018 Accord is in now perfect working order.

Disappointed, we sincerely apologize for this substandard detailing you received at Headquarter Honda. In our eight year relationship, we are saddened to have disappointed you. However, if a vehicle is not washed weekly and given a wax every couple of months; any dirt, grime and organic matter will have the tendency to bake into any chips and pitting of the paint from normal driving conditions. You are correct, even with this basic detail package, we could have used stronger products to remove the bugs. We have addressed this with the newest member of the detail team. Upon your next visit, please ask for the Customer Relations Manager and we will schedule a full detail at your convenience at absolutely no charge to you. Thank you for the opportunity to allow us to get better and to try our best to set things right so that our relationship can continue.
