Five star service I've bought plenty of cars over the years, but I've never been served with personal care and attention like I have at Hayes Chrysler. This is the 4th I've bought plenty of cars over the years, but I've never been served with personal care and attention like I have at Hayes Chrysler. This is the 4th car I've bought from them and it's my first Jeep ever. My taste in cars is changing because of Hayes. I used to be a Toyota man, but the Chrysler/Jeep brand has impressed me enough to make me switch. I was so looking forward to picking up my new Grand Cherokee, but I couldn't get a ride to the dealership. "No problem", he said, "I'll pick you up!" The salesman then asked me a few questions about my musical taste and when he picked me up in my new Jeep, he had my favorite music pre-programmed into Sirius/XM. Driving that car back to the dealership was pure nirvana. It's the small touches that Hayes excels in. Attention to detail and consideration toward the customer are their strengths. Pretty much went smoothly, minor issues Dion Gilbert was a fantastic sales person, got me mostly the no haggling price as posted and had everything mostly ready. Only minor issue was the F&I guy still tried the old fashioned attempt to pile on extra charges such an "maintenance package" that "used a special oil only these Jeep Renegades use". I stopped him cold as my family has former Chrysler employees (worked at Dodge Old Main in Detroit) and my wife operating ran an engine remanufacturing shop and could rebuild a Ford 351 Cleveland V8 in her sleep. Don't lecture me on engine oil and don'd dare trying pulling that on another customer. Once we got past that minor issue, the rest of the process went smoothly and quickly, I was in and out of the dealership in about 40 minutes tops. I would have given them 5 stars had it not been for that extra charge attempt. More

I think most people dread buying a car (I know I certainly do) because of all the BS involved: High pressured sales tactics, bait and switch pricing, and terms that change on a dime in the dealership's favor. I have purchased many cars over the years including 2 Porsches. That said, this was my best buying and trading experience ever, even better than Porsche. Bill, who heads up internet sales for Hayes, was highly responsive to my many email inquiries. By the time I got to the dealership, we had the deal nailed down. In fact, when I got to the dealership, and met him for the first time, he extended his hand for a handshake and I gave him a hug instead. That's how good I felt about him! We did a test drive and Bill patiently took the time to explain each and every feature of the car, including a few nuances that I never would have figured out on my own. Then, the Hayes Team kicked-in. The buy, trade-in, and financing went smoothly. The transaction was easy. I felt so good about my experience with Bill that I made a point of telling his manager about my positive experience. And as I left the dealership, Bill extended his hand to congratulate me on my purchase. And once again, I ignored his extended hand, and gave him a HUGE bear hug!
