It seems like the timing was right from the moment I stepped out of my car as Mr. Reyes approached me with a smile and hand extended. He asked me how he could help and knew exactly where to lead me when I explained what I was looking for. I think he pinpointed the car I wanted in under 5 minutes. At other dealers this process took close to an hour, just wandering their lots. After getting the keys and during the test drive, Mr. Reyes was very knowlegeable and explained many of the features I never heard from other dealers. I felt like he wanted to get the most out of my time with him to sell the vehicle. He was very upfront with me, listened to my needs, and worked through my requests to get what I feel was a great price on my new car. I did not feel overly pressured or intimidated as with other dealers, and rather enjoyed the process. Everyone I met was very nice and welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in who I was versus what I was going to buy. On the downside, while doing online research, I submitted my email address for the dealers to contact me. The result was several cookie cutter type emails that appeared to be more of an add than genuine communication about what I was interested in. This did not appeal to me and could be approved upon. I gave up. The experience of dealing with what must be today's sales manager to salesperson training in Orlando, left me with absolutely dreading visiting another dealership. I could not bring myself to go back. The experiences were horrible and were insulting my intelligence and good nature. Knowing what I needed and could pay for was out there, I went online to start researching and came across Hayes Chrysler, the car, and Harrison Funk. Simply, Harrison has retained family/people values and integrity... if Hayes is training its representatives to handle sales in the manner Harrison handled our purchase, I am thankful to see someone has tried to take the "car salesman" image and attitude.... out of their employees. I am in hopes that he does not fall into another "type" of salesmanship as Harrison's way is a breath of fresh air for buying a car. Our deal was done quickly, and for being out of state, extremely easy. Harrison listened to what I was saying, accepted what I was saying, and went right to work in giving me what I needed. He made it easy, comfortable, and left me with great appreciation for his professional and personal manners. As well, his sales manager was efficient and polite. I hope Harrison has a long successful career in the automobile business....as I will again....rather pay $200 to fly to Atlanta, get to Lawerenceville, buy a car from him, and drive it home....than deal with the less than professional attitudes in Orlando on how to sell a car. Let me first start off by saying that the experience was far from buying a car as we were able to relate and relax while working a deal. Jim Sales made sure that we were taken care of and never broke his word; with Jim Sales and the new finance manager they were able to make the deal that we were after allowing us to leave with a new car and a smile. My former sales agent JP Kim was occupied so I was given to Jim Sells. I visited with Jim three times throughout this process. I narrowed my decision to a Ram 1500 after test driving a few vehicles. Jim was very knowledgeable on both product lines as well as a wealth of trivial knowledge. My kind of guy!. We finally closed the deal on Memorial Day and I am the proud owner of a 2014 Dodge Ram. We trusted him so much we asked him to recommend a sales person when we were considering a new car at Hayes. Bob Hughes came very highly recommended and he absolutely lived up to it!
