3 weeks later and I still have not gotten a call from Stephen Weatherly. Even after numerous unsuccessful times that I have tried to call him, personally. Kevin told me on April 4th that he "would have Stephen call me in the next 10 mins". No call received. Would like to get this matter resolved. Our Salesman was dishonest several times, flat out contradicted himself several times and after purchasing the vehicle, that he was more dishonest than we originally thought. Was told that Vehicle would be finished at the detailer and ready to be purchased on Friday and stated the vehicle had not dents, dings or scratches or the paint and No rips, cuts, or tears, both statements were untrue. When we got there, the detailer had not "finished" cleaning up the vehicle. I asked if they could take the price of detail and paint touch up could be taken out of the price, was told no, it wouldn't be worth it, told by salesman the paint could be buffed up for $150 and then about $150 for the detail, out of my pocket after being told it would be done by their detailer upon arrival. After purchasing the vehicle, took it to Jeep body shop in our town, 2 hours away from dealership and charged over $2300 for work that should have done by Hayes. $300 out of pocket is bad enough but $2300 for the salesman's dishonesty?!? On top of that, had to pay for a rental car for several weeks while vehicle was at the body shop. Also, when we got to the dealership, the salesman did not honor the listed price on their website and tried to lower my trade-in amount on the paperwork in the financing department luckily, I caught it before I signed the deal. So many mistakes that should have never happened. Would love to settle this matter in an honorable and proper manner as reasonable adults.
