I have bought vehicles in the past but I had never experienced such a great experience until now. I bought a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 from Arnie. He made my experience an amazing one by answering all of my questions and boy o boy did I have a lot of them. I don't like being a pain but I needed my questions answered and Arnie was very knowledgeable and kept it professional by answering all of my questions without getting annoyed. I have been to other dealers where the salesperson gets upset when being asked a lot of questions but that didn't happen this time around which I must admit I was very surprised and impressed. He also kept me very informed of the buying procedure there which kept me at ease and I appreciate that very much. Thank you for making my car buying process an amazing one. When I am ready for another car I will definitely be coming back to Hawthorne Chevrolet! More

I had an amazing experience from the time I walked into the dealership until the time I walked out. Bobby was very nice and kind. He answered all of my questions. Jeff Mays was very attentive in making sure everything was handled properly and going smoothly. Carrie was a great finance manager she made sure I understood everything I was signing. I had an overall amazing experience at Hawthorne Chevrolet. I will recommend anyone in the market for a vehicle to come to the dealer and ask for Bobby Madden. More
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER... From the beginning nothing but problems with this dealership. Twice now when our new vehicle was brought in for service the employees damaged the vehicle. This last experience was problems with this dealership. Twice now when our new vehicle was brought in for service the employees damaged the vehicle. This last experience was having them install fog lights which I paid for and they scratched & chipped the paint during the install and on the bumper. I spoke with Mr. Tim Mckens who promised me the damage would be repaired. When I went to pick up the car nothing was done, his response was " what can I do for you?". He should be saying "This is what I'm going to do for you". The service manager Joseph De Cangi just walked away not wanting to deal with his shrew up. Mr. Mckens recommended replacing both the front and rear bumpers on my new car. This would make a new car not so new any more and would inconvenience me once again for a long time. I decided not to have their service department touch the car again and left. It has been more then 3 weeks since this incident and no one from the dealership has made an attempt to contact me. This dealership refused to sell us a truck because I told them that I was not happy with their customer service. Jeffery Mays is a rude person, he should not be the sales manager. We did schedule an appointment with the finance person on the day when we finally could pick up the truck, after a week of wait. We arrived 15 minutes early and they still let 2 other people walk into the finance office who didn't even have appointments. I am currently pregnant and I told the sales person at the time when I scheduled the appointment that I won't be able wait around for a long time. They couldn't care less. We wanted to have our deposit money back after they refused to sell the truck to us, but they didn't write us a check on the same day.So they kept our deposit and didn't sell us the truck. I would recommend not to go even close to this dealership. More
Bad Experience.... Bought a new car and after picking it up it had a stain from bird droppings, I brought it back and they were able to compound it out. However a careless worker scratched the door frame. I spoke with General Manager Mr. Thomas Pasquazi and made arrangements to bring the car back to them. The option was to use touch up paint, I hoped it would work. The employee who worked on the car apparent used old paint which turned black in color on a gray car. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the General Manager and he agreed it was not acceptable and told me he would correct the mistake and order a new can of touch-up paint, he offered I keep the can afterwards which didn't happen. Once the paint arrived I returned to Hawthorne dealership again. It was a mission to speak with the right person to get the work started. It took longer then I was advised and when I went to pick up the car I found that the employee who worked on the car only touched up one of the four damaged areas and the one area he did paint was not compounded to make it look smooth. I attempted to reach General Manager Thomas Pasquazi but he was no where to be found. I had to leave for an appointment and left messages for Thomas Pasquazi to call me back. The next day and I'm still waiting to get this matter resolved, I've recieved no phone calls back from Hawthorne Chevrolet. More
We needed a vehicle that could tow a boat, has 4 wheel drive for skiing in VT, cargo space to carry all our ski gear (replacing a mini-van). We had our research in hand from Consumer Reports on the 2013 C drive for skiing in VT, cargo space to carry all our ski gear (replacing a mini-van). We had our research in hand from Consumer Reports on the 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche and the Traverse. Both vehicles had the capacity, both rated high on consumers and relatively equal in price. The Avalanche would perform better at our core requirements and it had a more spacious interior. However, the 2nd row seats in the Avalanche did not recline and the ultimately influenced our decision to go with the Traverse. Tom Brown was patient with us in the 3 week process we took to decide which vehicle to purchase. Tom answered all questions and was respectful to our concerns about visiting the dealer with our school age children, work and life interruptions. He responded to email, voice mails and phone calls with questions that could not be answered from our internet queries. After we decided on the Traverse, Tom had found one in the area so we did not need to order our preferred build. The car was prep'd and ready for pickup in less than 48 hours from the time we placed our order. Tom even offered to deliver the vehicle if we could not pick it up. We were very pleased with the purchase process. This was a huge ticket item to us and the folks at Hawthorne Chevrolet respected our need to make sure we got the vehicle that was right for us. More
Wow....I went to see Steve to discuss my interest in possibly getting a new Tahoe. Steve and Tom Brown handled my deal and I have to tell everyone that this is NOT your typical car dealership. No pressure on me ever to buy. It was straight forward, honest, and probably one of the best car buying experiences I've had in 30 years. The delivery was everything you want the day you pick up your vehicle. My 2013 thane was immaculate! Detailed and sitting there inside waiting for me. Tom Brown educated me on every single system the fully loaded truck had to offer. Tom was so good and just a regular guy who I could tell lives and breathes Hawthorne Chevy. I took my Tahoe home today but I made 3 new friends over there. What a great buying experience from start to Finnish. And a great deal too! More
I bought a new Chevy Spark from Hawthorne Chevrolet. I got it in Techno Pink and it looks gorgeous! All of my friends love the color and I receive a lot of compliments on it.
