My family has purchased several new vehicles from Hawthorne Chevrolet in the years past and have always had the vehicles serviced at the dealership. My initial service writer was STEVE KOCHAN, who is Hawthorne Chevrolet in the years past and have always had the vehicles serviced at the dealership. My initial service writer was STEVE KOCHAN, who is now the service manager at the dealership. Steve was always on the top of his game with good advice pertaining to my vehicle service. Upon Steve becoming the service manager, I have used Mike Rivera as my service writer. Mike has followed in Steve’s footsteps and assisted me with all my service needs . The service department is essential to making the dealership what it is today. Any dealership can sell vehicles. The service department is the key to having your vehicle running properly!!!! More

10/21 Booked on-line a service appt for 8 am Mon, rcvd a call saying cant do 8 am but 9 am is good, np. Bring a 2024 Suburban Z in for oil & tire rotation. Was told there is a software update also, shud tak call saying cant do 8 am but 9 am is good, np. Bring a 2024 Suburban Z in for oil & tire rotation. Was told there is a software update also, shud take hr, hr and a half, so I wait. At 11:45 my truck comes out (more than 2 1/2 hrs later)! Mechanic gets out of truck and says, "Software update didnt take". My info screen is blank! Im already over an hr late for an appt, so I take the truck and lv. The attached photo pops up & I fixed myself following directions. Haw Chevy service is a sh*tshow, no updates & no communication during service. Now I read a lady went thru same issue last week with oil change. Dont waste ur time replying since u made no effort to fix ur service dept oil change timing after last complaint. 10/23 This gets better, they called me yesterday and asked why I missed my appt! More

Should be Zero stars! STEER CLEAR! This dealership carries NO BUSINESS ETHIC. I dealt with Ulises as my salesman and went there specifically to see a used vehicle that I w STEER CLEAR! This dealership carries NO BUSINESS ETHIC. I dealt with Ulises as my salesman and went there specifically to see a used vehicle that I was very serious about which I expressed. Had it looked at by my own mechanic which I paid for. Test drove it with my family came to the agreement on a price, which they tried to change one day after I already had driven the vehicle, which I had proof of an email. The truck was also supposed to have two sets of keys which became a circus act of management telling me that I should pay $500 for an additional key even though that’s how it was advertised. Ulises tried to help with that situation and told me to give him some time to figure that out, which came to an end when I said forget about the key, let’s just make the deal and I was told to come in for an appointment with a bank check and to sign final paperwork after the weekend. Come Monday I was called by the salesman in the afternoon to tell me that they had sold the car for more money over the weekend. This is more than disgusting. If this was the last car dealership on the planet, I still would not go back there. This is proof of why people think car dealerships are filled with Sleeze xxxxx More
