Headlamp Replacement 2010 SRX Hawk Cadillac of Joliet provided, once again, a flawless service experience. This particular visit started back in March with Cadillac's notice to SR Hawk Cadillac of Joliet provided, once again, a flawless service experience. This particular visit started back in March with Cadillac's notice to SRX owners of a "reimbursement" for the replacement of headlamps on certain SRX autos. I called Hawk upon receipt of the notice and the service rep I spoke to created a ticket for the order of parts and warned me that there may be a delay due to a demand for the headlamps and the emerging covid situation. She further explained that I should be immune from deadlines listed in the notice since a "ticket" for the repair was created in advance. Well, I did not hear anything until July when I received a call from Hawk that the parts arrived. I set up an appointment for the job a few days later. Upon arrival Angus Chu took care of business in a friendly, efficient and knowledgeable manner. Besides the headlamps, I also inquired if a tech could look at a problem I was having with the driver's side window. Angus assured me it would not be a problem and informed/explained to me the fee for debugging and estimating the window repair. Within minutes I was on my way home in a 2020 XT6 loaner. Later in the day Angus called with a report on the window problem and an estimate with the diagnostic fee applied. I gave him the OK on the window repair knowing a new motor had to be ordered. Since I had a loaner there were not issues. To my surprise I received a call at 8:00 AM the next day that all work, headlamps and window motor had been completed. When I arrived to pick up my SRX I was in and out of the service area in less than 15 minutes. The service rep. that cashed me out explained how to prepare my claim to Cadillac for the headlamp reimbursement program -- friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. There you have it -- another first rate and first class service experience with Hawk Joliet from start to finish. Keep up the Great Work -- I appreciate it! Gus Tomac More
