Hatchett Buick GMC has the worst service department in the state of Kansas. If you’re looking to have your vehicle serviced at a place that will do nothing but lie to your face and not follow through with the state of Kansas. If you’re looking to have your vehicle serviced at a place that will do nothing but lie to your face and not follow through with ANYTHING they promise then this is the place for you! EVERY TIME I have my vehicle serviced or repaired here it is a nightmare. They hook their claws into you when you purchase a vehicle with them and have to service it through them to “maintain the warranty“, which is not true, just more lies from them. They will take 3 hours for a simple oil change, even when it’s a scheduled appointment with an estimate wait time of 30-45 min. Part of the warranty is that they are to provide a rental vehicle when it’s being repaired and they have weaseled out of doing so on multiple occasions by promising the vehicle back the next day then lying and dragging it out for weeks past the promised date. Good luck trying to get reimbursement for the rental fees you incurred while Hatchett holds your vehicle hostage because that too is a loosing battle. They lied to my face for 6 weeks and held my vehicle hostage while “parts were on order “then admitting they didn’t have a qualified tech on staff to do the repairs so my vehicle just sat with no production Instead of letting me go to a repair shop that is actually capable of doing the work. They allowed me to be without a vehicle and only covered a small portion or the rental fee. They also took 6 months to replace a touch screen. First they said the screen was on back order and they would call me when it arrived. I called my service rep multiple times with no reply within the first 3 months then gave up on them. I then contacted their parts department when my screen completely crashed (6 months after they “ordered“ the replacement) to see if it had arrived and was told it did “months ago“, but since my service rep never did anything with it when it arrived they sent it back (at least their parts department is honest and not a bunch of liars). I then had to call the store manager just to get a reply. Since it was returned they had to “reorder it“, but I had done research and found the screen was not a back ordered part and low and behold it arrived within a week. They installed the new unit and it still has issues, showing they have no clue what they’re doing there. You can leave your service rep voicemails and text multiple times and never get a single reply for weeks or even months in some cases. Don’t bother trying to reach out to service manager “Eric“ as he won’t return voicemails either. You can call the service desk and explain that you have reached out multiple times to the service rep with no response and all they do is forward you to their voicemail again. Today was the last straw as I had to drop my truck off for another repair (because of their warranty) and yet again, I dropped it off at 7:30am as scheduled and was told I was first on line and would receive text updates and a call by 3pm. Once again didn’t hear a word or see a single text so I called around 4 and yet again no answer or call back. I got dropped off just before they closed at 6 to avoid them holding my truck hostage for the weekend and was greeted very rudely by my service rep “Matt” who then stated “let me see what’s going on with your truck”. He returned with my vehicle handed me the keys and walked away. Didn’t say a word or explain what the diagnosis was. I had also asked for a tire rotation and replacement of two air sensors that they also failed to complete. I then asked “Matt“ for his supervisor and was told “he’s not here“. So basically my vehicle spent the entire day from open to close and didn’t get a single thing done to it. Don’t bother trying to speak to upper management as they don’t care about their customers or if you’re having issues. The only thing this dealership has correct is the name Hatchett as they have butchered my return business and referrals. More

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. Three weeks to repair an oil leak...twice. No vehicle if comparable value offered. Holiday ruined. Refused to work overtime to make it right. Nothing but problems The first time I decided to take my newer 2015 GMC Sierra to this dealership once I moved to Kansas it was for an oil change. This started the downhil The first time I decided to take my newer 2015 GMC Sierra to this dealership once I moved to Kansas it was for an oil change. This started the downhill slope of my bad experiences, the first oil change resulted in a giant oily handprint on my center console which I tried wiping off myself but resulted in the next day being a white substance left behind. So needless to say I had to go back in and have them use a special chemical to clean it off. The second bad experience was my second oil change where they forgot to put a new oil change sticker on my windshield. And the big issue that I still have going on is warranty work on my Fender Flares which started 8 weeks ago, there were several cracks in my original fender flares is that I claimed on my warranty. They had no issue with getting me fixed up on that, I waited three weeks to hear anything back from them about ordering and receiving new ones so that Friday of the third week I called and they said they had received two different kinds that were the wrong ones so I waited another two weeks with no contact so I called them again on a Friday and they said oh yes we have them, it's hard to tell how long they actually did have them. So that following Monday I took my truck in and had them put the new Fender Flares on, they did warn me they were slightly different. When I went back in to get my truck what I saw for replacement fender flares was a joke, they were the cheapest aftermarket fender flares I had ever seen and the fit was terrible, I told them I did not want those on my truck, and to get the correct ones that I had on there in the first place. Not only did they destroy my old ones taking them off but left screws with plastic still behind them as well, on top of that did not put all of the screws where they belong on the new ones. When I went to pick up my truck after they said it was done they also told me that the cabin air filter needed replaced, I told them to go ahead, and I got in my truck and found my glove box on the floor and my lock a bull compartment Above It Wide Open and my firearm sitting in the seat with the truck unlocked. I also had them do a tire rotation, they had to borrow the key to my aftermarket wheels and also did not put that back, I am still waiting to find out if they found it or lost it.as of right now I am still waiting on the correct fender flares More

Your phone kept giving me a recording that you had no working phone service in the parts dept. I called the service dept. several times and the lady tried to connect me to the parts mgr. (who was not there} and to someone named Alan {who was also not there}. I finally got connected to someone named Joe who was very nice and who tried his best to help me. He is the only bright spot that I found in this miserable attempt to contact your business! More

It doesn't matter as they place you in a line regardless of an appointment or not. More
We thought service was outstanding ! We took our 2014 Terrain to Scholfield to do an add on Remote start/ keyless entry transmitter & had it installed.... They said it was to have taken 2 We took our 2014 Terrain to Scholfield to do an add on Remote start/ keyless entry transmitter & had it installed.... They said it was to have taken 2 hours - but ended up taking 4 hours . BUT ... They let us know they were having problems with our car accepting the program & said it would be a few more minutes ! And it was just a few more minutes once it accepted the program... They had offered hot drinks and a warm friendly waiting area .... Service was exceptional ! Our advisor was Eric Phillips - he took very good care of us !!!! Thanks again Schofield ! More
