The Atypical Car Saleman It's not often that I would take the time to write a review about someone but Scott Rosenfeld really was an exception person to deal with. I think everyone has the same perception of a 'car salesman' and it's not one that is all that appealing (sorry, car salespeople, but there is truth to that) .. however, Scott is the complete opposite of that perception. If you really want a salesperson that is courteous, knowledgeable, and really compassionate, then you have to go to Hassett of Wantagh and you have to get Scott Rosenfeld to help you. I have leased two vehicles from Scott and I never felt that he was pressuring me into anything ... in fact, I have to say that we had actually agreed on one payment and when he came back to write it up, he lowered it a little ... I was not satisfied at all with the other Ford dealership I used my first time leasing my Edge and Fusion,so much to the point that I vowed never to do any business with that dealership or another Ford dealer for that matter! As my leases were ending I shopped around for different brands but I truly wanted to re-lease my two vehicles because my wife and I were so happy with both our car and truck. I decided to give another Ford dealer a chance at earning my business. From the moment I walked into Hasset Ford I knew my experience would be much different. My salesman Mike Scannello was the first to greet me rather quickly and tended to my car needs right away. I told him my experience with the previous Ford dealer and he assured me that would not happen at Hasset. Mike listened to me from the start and I found him to be honesr,forthright,and knowledgable about what I wanted my lease to be. He worked very hard to get to the numbers I needed to be satisfied with my leases and further assured that those would be the figures and there would be no hidden costs added on later. This was critical to me because the last dealings with the other dealer I felt I was being scammed by the salesman and everything he told me was not the truth! Mike treated me with respect and it so easy to come up with a very fair deal working with him.I was very happy after I agreed to the leases and I would recommend Hasset to all friends and family.I would definitely recommend Mike because of his honesty and true professionalism! My experience at this dealership was absolutely incredible (to the extent that I am going to write a ridiculously long review because of how much they deserve it)! The gentleman who predominantly incredible (to the extent that I am going to write a ridiculously long review because of how much they deserve it)! The gentleman who predominantly assisted me, Anthony, was an absolute pleasure- started me off with extremely reasonable numbers, that beat competing Ford locations by a substantial amount. I am an extremely persistent person, and very tough to accommodate at times because I am a bit stubborn, and simultaneously am indecisive. Regardless of my constant mind changing, and the extensive amount of time I took, Anthony was more than patient, accommodating and upbeat throughout the duration I spent at their facility. He got me into the perfect vehicle, with every feature that was significant to me, at a price that fit into my budget. The General Manager Lou, was very patient with me, easy going, and most importantly didn't have his sales associate hit me with any ridiculous number to intimidate me. You can tell he is selective with who he hires by how efficient each individual on this team is and how hard he works with them to ensure the client is satisfied. When Anthony was not available in the evening, his colleague Scott assisted me with receiving/emailing the documents I needed to ensure I got my vehicle in the time frame I wanted. When I arrived at the facility to pick up my car- it was ready. Since Anthony was finishing up with another client, his colleague Craig went through all the paperwork with me and explained everything in detail so I felt comfortable each time I signed something. I also spoke to the Finance Manager Dan, who was helpful while not being too pushy or overwhelming. Anthony topped it all off by staying over an hour after they closed to ensure I received the proper delivery and felt comfortable with the vehicle. To sum this up in short terms- I would highly recommend Hassett Ford (and Hassett of Wantagh in general) to any person interested in any vehicle they offer. Anthony truly went above and beyond to make sure I was content about every facet of the vehicle itself, their process and each component of my purchase. His management and co-workers did everything they could to contribute to the experience and make sure each aspect was pleasant and easy. Thank you Anthony && everyone who helped me!
