On 11/16 went to the Harvey Cadillac on 28th St. We found a vehicle we wanted to get. Stephen Benet tall reddish hair 6 foot 3 Ish? Nice gave all our information. Agreed on 1000.00 down, would have done more but it’s thanksgiving holidays duh? And they said OK no problem. Next day we offered to trade in our BMW. They said it would be better, so we said OK. All day this Stephen Benet had me going back and forth down 28thst to my husband’s work for finishing the paperwork. It seemed extensive. At 230 stephen asked me again can you put even more money down? I said no for reasons stated before and agreed upon. Stephen was stumbling his words, stuttering when I asked him if they wanted me to go to the credit union for the payoff>he said they were still working on it. An hour later Stephen said they will call me later?? I came right out and said how shady he was acting is this going to work. Are you Stephen Benet and Michael Mather refusing me based on the fact I do not want to give you more money? They act like its Their Christmas money for them to spend on their family?? Sketchy. He told me there was a Cadillac on the lot he wanted to buy. He acted like this was the one he wanted. I said we have been nothing but honest and straight forward. I directly asked him if this was it??? He was again stuttering, um um um I really can’t say we are still working on it. I said it is better to be honest, because coming back here we will have a bad taste in our mouths. I said call me later? Stephen said yes. I said goodbye and Stepen said IT WAS NICE TO MEET YOU!!!!! OMG THAT TOLD ME THEY REFUSED ME FOR NOT GIVING THEM MORE MONEY!! I CHECKED OUR CREDIT WITH CHASE AND WE WERE NOT DENIEDED AND DIDN’T HAVE TO TURN IN MY BMW PLUS 1000 WAS ENOUGH. WE GOT MORE IN A CAR LOAN AND WE CAN GO WHEREVER WE WANT—NOT HARVEY THAT’S FOR SURE!! Sad BE AWARE of car sales men and the finance manager looking for more money when it doesn’t add up? They are pocketing the money even Tho it shows on paper. This is their job-they can get away with it. Just be careful at places like Harvey Cadillac-BEVERYLY HILLS OF GR a place where you think you would be safe…. Not necessarily. DO NOT TRUST STEPHEN BENET AND MICHAEL MATHER. OH STUDDERING WAS JUST BECAUSE HE WAS NERVOUS NOT A DEFECT. AS A NURSE I WOULD NEVER JUDGE DISABILITIES, THIS GUY STEPHEN BENET DID NOT HAVE IT HE WAS JUST GUILTY. More
