Very professional dealership. I called to make an appointment to test drive a RAV4. The vehicle was ready for me to test drive when I arrived. If was very easy to work out a lease deal. The dealer appointment to test drive a RAV4. The vehicle was ready for me to test drive when I arrived. If was very easy to work out a lease deal. The dealership did not have the color I wanted, but within a short time, they found the car with all the features I wanted. I checked out Hartford Toyota last, knowing that they are a volume dealer. They beat the previous three deals that I struck for the same vehicle. It seems like everyone remembers you at this dealership. F a volume dealer. They beat the previous three deals that I struck for the same vehicle. I was five months pregnant when i decided to upgrade from my corolla to an SUV. I went to hartford toyota because four years prior i bought the corolla from them and had a very good experience. The sales guy my corolla to an SUV. I went to hartford toyota because four years prior i bought the corolla from them and had a very good experience. The sales guy was friendly, we talked, laughed threw around some numbers until we decided at a good trade in price for my corolla. We test drove the car, everything looked and sounded good and so I decided to buy. I was supposed to pick up the car the following Monday but never got a call from the store. When i called, the sales guy told me it's not ready and I should come in the next day. I went on my lunch break from work the next day expecting the paperwork and the car to be ready. I sat there for two hours before seeing the finance guy. When i finally saw him to sign the paperwork, i realized that my last name was spelled wrong on the form. It took him forever to fix it, print it out and then for me to sign again. Then i realized that my name was spelled wrong on all the forms. After being there for more that two hours, i could not be bothered anymore and just ignored it. After signing all the paperwork, i had to wait for someone to put the plates on the car. I'm grateful that my job is flexible because i was gone for more than three hours. Two days later i realized that the six cd changer was not working so i called and was told that they would fix it. then i got a call from the sales manager saying that they will pay half of the cost and i should pay the other half. After a long back and forth with the rude sales manager, my husband and i decided to call the owner. Less than ten minutes later, the sales manager called back saying that they will absorb the cost of the new cd player. About a month ago we took the car for an oil change and found out that there was a recall on that make and model three months before i bought the car. It broke my heart to know that the heartless people at hartford toyota would sell a faulty car to a pregnant woman. More
I purchased my RAV4 in November of 2013. I first started with Rich McAllister who listened to my needs and showed me a few cars, he was very attentive and understood what I was looking for and what was in m with Rich McAllister who listened to my needs and showed me a few cars, he was very attentive and understood what I was looking for and what was in my price range. He looked at my trade-in and then assigned me to Mike Delemos. Mike was great, he finished the sale, was very attentive to every detail and walked me through everything, including how to use the phone (twice!). I had an easy sales experience, I hate buying cars, hate negotiating and Rich and Mike made the process easy for me. The follow up service has been convenient and so far so good (I have had 2 regular maintenance appts and 1 tow hitch installation). Everyone is friendly and helpful. I would buy another car from Hartford Toyota. More
I came in with "check headlight" light on the board. Paid diagnostics, paid for parts and laber to repair the diagnosed problem. Total came to over $400. Got in my car (still in their parking lot board. Paid diagnostics, paid for parts and laber to repair the diagnosed problem. Total came to over $400. Got in my car (still in their parking lot), the same light still on. How did this happen????? What kind of service was done, if any to my car? Came back in, asked for my money back, so I could go to another dealership, diagnose the problem correctly and get it fixed. No can do Chip said :) we do not refund our customers. Now I'm left with the same dashboard light on, but short $400. Very dissapointing visit, as far as I know, my car could have been sitting in their garage and nobody even worked on it. There was no result. More
Andrew Lombardo is the internet sales representative for Hartford Toyota, but I worked with him face-to-face in the showroom. On a very busy Sunday afternoon, Andrew came out of his office to work with me Hartford Toyota, but I worked with him face-to-face in the showroom. On a very busy Sunday afternoon, Andrew came out of his office to work with me so that I would not have to wait. Andrew is a young professional who shines and stands out among his peers. He is a rising star in this industry, and his potential is boundless. He is kind, professional, eloquent, hard-working, and *not* your typical "pushy" salesman. He went above an beyond in his customer service, and I would definitely recommend Andrew Lombardo to all of my friends looking to purchase a Toyota. More
I suppose shopping for a car should be fun, but I find no joy in the experience so I rarely do it. I'm concerned about "buyer's remorse" and very wary about salesmen using hard sell techniques. I'm pleasantl joy in the experience so I rarely do it. I'm concerned about "buyer's remorse" and very wary about salesmen using hard sell techniques. I'm pleasantly surprised enough with my good experience overall after buying a Camry Hybrid that I am willing to write the following: Thank you Dave Goduti for being perceptive enough to realize I was willing to walk away at any point during the 2 days I was at the dealership. You did very well being patient with me. Eduardo Calderon is easy to work with and explains the paperwork process clearly. I have dealt with Jan Rypysc on two separate occasions and have found her to be pleasant and timely. I've actually arrived late to pickup a loaner vehicle from her and I still made it to my workplace on time. My brief conversations with Richard McAllister Jr has convinced me that I am a valued customer, a feeling that is a rare treat. The Service personnal have been professional and polite. I have spoken with 2 men and a woman ( I believe her name is Shannon) and each time they were engaging and pleasant. In conclusion, it is apparent that Hartford Toyota is changing their past ways based upon earlier reviews written by unhappy customers. They have gone above and beyond what I expected and I appreciate it! More
I am very satisfied with my purchase of a pre-owned Lexus from Hartford Toyota Superstore. The price was reasonable and the customer service was great. We purchased a 2013 Avalon hybrid. While the car arrived within the time frame specified, and was just as we ordered it, it took us over 3 hours to pay, sign for, and drive away in our new car. Although we within the time frame specified, and was just as we ordered it, it took us over 3 hours to pay, sign for, and drive away in our new car. Although we had clearly indicated we had a trade-in, including discussing the details the day before new car pick up, somehow this information was not included on the sales documents. The documentation had to be re-created, and this was exaccerated by the absence of some financial person, or something. When we finally thought we were ready to leave, we had to review some useless final checklist with the salesman, which we completed and signed. Then the sales manager came over and wanted to review it with us again, which I refused, since I had just signed it. He was quite shocked, and wasted even more of my time trying to convince me. I strongly resented the waste of several hours of my time, during what should have been a routine transaction. Presumably these people sell thousands of cars a year - and they can't get customers home in less than 3 hours? While I was pleased with the car and the upfront information, I cannot truly recommend this place for completing the sale. More
