Hartford Toyota takes Customer Satisfaction Very Seriously This was my first experience with this dealer. Everyone was courteous. I arrived at 7:00 a.m. and Carl took care of me right away. From there howev This was my first experience with this dealer. Everyone was courteous. I arrived at 7:00 a.m. and Carl took care of me right away. From there however my experience did not go so well that day. I was supposed to have been on the 7:30 a.m. shuttle, but a series of mishaps prevented me from being on that shuttle and I missed the 8:30 a.m. shuttle as well. I ended up waiting until 10:30 for my car to be ready. Grant is a newly employed shuttle driver. He was very nice and I can see he will do well in customer service, but my situation that day provided Grant with what likely was a good learning experience. The shuttle fiasco could have been avoided had there been better communication. I was also given inaccurate assessments for how long it would take for my car to be ready. That likely was not Grant’s fault as he was likely just the messenger. I returned my survey explaining how dissatisfied I was with how my situation was handled. Chip responded promptly with a letter of apology. He explained what happened and he assured me that this is not the type of experience they want for their customers. Chip took quick action to correct the issues causing my dissatisfaction. Chip also made things right with me. I appreciate the effort that was made to make me happy and I realize that they take customer satisfaction very seriously. For this reason I will continue doing business with Hartford Toyota. I can't rate the quality of work because I was only there for simple maintenance (30K). The price is what I expected. Although I had a bad day, my overall experience was excellent and my confidence in Hartford Toyota has been restored. Thank you Chip. More

Purchased 2014 Toyota Corolla LE ECO 4/14/2014 I waited to make this review because I wanted to give it time to make sure everything worked out. This was my first time buying from this dealer and I waited to make this review because I wanted to give it time to make sure everything worked out. This was my first time buying from this dealer and I was upfront with Tina that I would most likely purchase this vehicle from the dealer I was most familiar with. Undeterred, Tina came back to me with a competitive Eprice and it was a plus that Hartford Toyota actually had the car I wanted in stock. So I decided to check it out. Tina was the first to greet me when I arrived and was very nice. She than introduced me to Jim Palumbo. I hate negotiating and the time wasted going back and forth. I also had a trade-in which I felt I was going to get screwed over on, but It was different here. Jim made me feel at ease, took as much time going over the car with me as I wanted, didn't mind that I wanted to deviate from his suggested test drive route and took the time to go over things such as the safety features which I hadn't even considered. I won't lie, the negotiating became confusing and I was becoming uncomfortable. I really started to have second thoughts, but Jim had his sales manager come over to join us and together they put me at ease once again and deal was completed. No time was wasted playing the usual games I have experienced with other dealers. The bottom line is I got the exact car I wanted, I got the price I wanted for my trade-in and the financing I wanted. The final cost after taxes and fees was exactly what I was willing to pay before I walked in the door. They really want to make a sale and also keep you happy. Jim introduced me to different representatives and made sure I was 100% satisfied before I drove away. He also told me to come back and see him whenever I decided to upgrade my cell phone so that he could help me program everything. Jim also followed up a few days later to make sure I was completely satisfied. Hartford Toyota has won me over and they will continue to get my business. I plan to have my service done there for our 2011 Camry as well. My experience was excellent and I love my Corolla. I have had no problems with the car so Jim has not heard from me since his last follow up in April. It is great to know that I can count on Hartford Toyota to back their product and provide excellent service. Great job! More

Andrew has been nothing but professional, knowledgeable and truly a great person to do business with. Andrew has assisted me with buying my Corolla two years ago and again today when I purchased a Camry SE Sport. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family. My boyfriend leased a Scion TC in February from Hartford Toyota and he was very pleased with the service. Andrew rolled out the red carpet and is great for special deals for those loyal customers. They registered without one of our names, used the wrong address, failed to deliver the registration on vehicle delivery, and after two days of futile attempts trying to get them to fix the problem, we are stuck fixing it ourselves. It's a disaster. More
