I would have hoped the sales person would have at lease tried to contact me to discuss another vehicle that may work for us pice wise. More
Would never return Took my care to a local tire shop for tires after resetting of the computer to relearn TPMS codes. Sensors never relearned. Brought my car to dealership for 2 min TPMS reset got charged 125$ for a typically free procedure. That wasn't bad enough they release my car to me not fully checked and had to bring car back next day. even though service invoice was noted all four tires were checked it wasn't checked at all. buyer beware More

Wasted my time Sales team was a joke - i called to make sure the car i was interested was there and available before i made the 1/2 hour drive....the car (new 2016 m Sales team was a joke - i called to make sure the car i was interested was there and available before i made the 1/2 hour drive....the car (new 2016 maxima) had been totaled and had not been abailable for some time.....i was then swung to a similar demo in the showroom - after crawling all over it, i made an offer 5% under asking price - the "salesman" refused it without even talking to anyone - no negotiation.....so on my way out, i approched the manager myself - he told me the car was SOLD......complete waste of time left there and drove to another dealer (another 1/2 hour away) and bought a 2016 platinum maxima! More
Saleman Made the Difference My wife and I were shopping for a new truck we went to the local Nissan dealer in our town only to be totally fed up. The salesperson was not listening to what my wife wanted in a truck and did not seem know the product line. We decided to give Harte Nissan a try we were there shortly before the sales department open, and we were greeted by Scott MacDonald asking if he could assist us. My wife and I explained that we are shopping for a new SUV and that we had a bad experience at the dealership in our town. Scott apologized which was nice since it was not his dealership that was so incompetent. My wife gave Scott a list of items that she wanted on the SUV since she would be using the SUV. Scott was excellent showing us a 2017 Pathfinder that was on the lot, one of the things that my wife wanted was her new SUV to be as high as her 2004 Ford Explorer. Scott was even measured the height from the ground to the top of the seat and called us back with the measurement. The second time we came back after going to the local Honda, Ford dealers we asked to a 2017 in Green which Scott said they had to locate and they did in New Jersey, they sent someone to pick the SUV up and we purchased it two weeks later. I would recommend Scott to anyone who is looking to purchase a Nissan. He even offered for us to come back anytime if we have any questions on the Pathfinder. Scott is the reason why we ended up with a Nissan Pathfinder, I hope that when I have a need to use the service department at Harte Nissan they will be as good as Scott was. More
Money hungry grease monkies Came for oil change which cost 15 bucks, patiently waiting 2 hrs, still not done. I have a breatherlyzer installed in vehicle for dwi, they told me they would charge 50 extra because extra time and labor it takes involved in the oil change. Spoke to the people who do the service, they said service rep is def lieing and trying to rip me off. I will wait till my service is completed and bring this issue up. This is 2nd issue i had with this service depatment The other was my brothers nissian murano which has the keyless ignition and somehow the key got stuck in the igintion. They charged me 500 to remove plus taxes. Overcharging hard working indviduals should be crime. Just overheard this guy next to me on the phone, he was saying that he got all kinds of discounts on his new vehicle purchase here at harte...these xxxxx are making customers feel like they got good deal and customer service....meanwhile they are jacking you up with extras when you bring in the car for service. Do not come here!!!!! Or buy new car here More

Unethical and Unresponsive I purchased a 2016 Nissan Maxima, it was our family's 12th vehicle purchased at Harte Nissan. It is quite clear after this experience that it will be I purchased a 2016 Nissan Maxima, it was our family's 12th vehicle purchased at Harte Nissan. It is quite clear after this experience that it will be the last one we purchase. Shortly after the purchase the Leather starting to change colors, I contacted the General Manager Damen Polance to discuss this issue along with the fact the car was rattling. It only took him almost 3 months to respond and attempt to solve the issue. He had me bring the car into the dealership to have some sort of protectant put on the Leather, well let's just say that didn't work and it has continued to discolor. I went around Damen to Simoniz the company he claimed did the work, not to my surprise nothing had ever been done and Damen completely fabricated the story. In addition he then forged a Simoniz Contract which allegedly would of had me covered to repair or replace whatever the issue was. Simoniz asked for the the date the vehicle was purchased, he instead crossed that out and changed the date. Well let's just say I attempted to start a claim last week and they still have no idea what I am talking about. I will say, I had the opportunity to deal with Erin Touponse, Harte's Director of Communications and at first she seemed really wanting to help, I think towards the end she was just as annoyed at what was happening with her company that she gave up as well. There are many other Nissan dealerships in the Hartford area that will take care of you. It is a shame, Harte Nissan used to be reliable and a great place to buy a car. However, with a unethical General Manager that has changed. More
