Harte Infiniti is dedicated to Customer Satisfaction and is always sorry when we cannot assist a customer in meeting their vehicle needs. This customer did come in and discuss the fact that they were interested in this vehicle. They chose not to leave a retainer on the vehicle they desired and although it was discussed that they thought they might like the vehicle in question, they were not prepared to make a financial commitment to it in the form of a refundable retainer. If they had left the retainer, we would have put a hold on the vehicle so that the sales floor stopped showing it. Since they did not leave the retainer, the vehicle was not taken from display and was unfortunately sold to a customer who was prepared to purchase. I apologize that we were not able to assist this customer, and hopefully after some time has passed, they understand that it was not Harte Infiniti's intention to harm them by continuing to show the vehicle they expressed desire in, just as Harte Infiniti would understand if they decided to purchase a different vehicle after expressing a verbal desire for ours.
