Diligent, Patient, Helpful The purchase of the 2012 FX 35 was not done by the conventional way of buying a car: showing up to the dealership, test driving the car and then sitti The purchase of the 2012 FX 35 was not done by the conventional way of buying a car: showing up to the dealership, test driving the car and then sitting down with the salesperson and then the finance manager. Excellence is tested when the process deviates from the conventional path. That was the case with this purchase and both the dealership and the salesperson, Anthony Smith, won. Before actually arriving at the dealership, Mr. Smith made several calls to us regarding the credit application that was submitted. On the test drive Anthony demonstrated his knowledge of the product. While he asked a few qualifying questions, there was no hard sell. This allowed me to concentrate on the car and not thinking about the negotiation ahead. Financing this deal was not straight-forward. There were many calls between the dealer and the bank, us and the bank, and the dealer and us. Yet, Mr. Smith and his finance team remained diligent. Anthony would call or text to always update us on the progress or lack of progress, all the while remaining patient. One cardinal sin that sales people commit sometimes is to judge the ability of the customer to make the purchase. Mr. Smith's attitude was, "We will help you make the purchase." With frequent updates from the finance manager, we were assured by Mr. Smith that the deal would go through. One of the most abhorrent experience most people will encounter is that of buying a car. This experience was pleasant. There was no pressure, we felt questions were addressed honestly, and the relevant information given freely. As a salesperson, Anthony Smith is pleasant and affable and he handled the entire process with aplomb. He possesses the qualities one expects to find in a truly exceptional salesman.: honesty, knowledgeable, the ability to listen, commitment to customer service (Mr. Smith even showed up on his day off when we made an unscheduled visit to the dealership). The FX 35 is a great car. It sits on the road, clearly master of the universe. I would choose it over the BMW SUV every time. And in a stroke of genius, Anthony started us dreaming of the next model, QX 70, when he showed me the features of the 2016 car. That purchase may be another two years from now but it will happen. Used car gone wrong Bought a 2011 Audi Q5 on December 29th 2015 Brought my new car to my local Audi dealer to do a overall service check up. After the check up the car f Bought a 2011 Audi Q5 on December 29th 2015 Brought my new car to my local Audi dealer to do a overall service check up. After the check up the car failed miserably . The Audi needed new tires, new breaks and they found out that it had Oil consumption leak . After calling Harte back and fighting with them they only wanted to give me new tires. This was all with in one week of buying the car . Now 52 day later the Oil consumption test failed . This is not my responsibility to fix this car seeing it still under warranty . And of course Harte wants no part of dealing with this issue. Sales department, service department and mangers could careless. Just give me my money back and take this Lemon of a car back. My advice to someone buying a used car is having them pull the Vin number because that's the only way you're going to find out if there something wrong with his car Carfax will not show any mechanical issue wrong with your car . Works NEVER buy or recommend this dealership . More

There were several issues we needed resolved and were; but not without several phone calls. I honestly could not give a 5 rating to the dealership. The Gm John Finelli assisted Howard with expediting and addressing the issues. I have purchased a lot of vehicles in my life and very surprised we were not shown how everything in the vehicle worked. Never having owned this brand before we were on our own to read the manual and figure it out. If I was rating just Howard Allison I would give him a 5, he went out of his way to assist us. The dealership however only earns a 4. More
