Very Poor Service and Rude to boot! Power steering electronic assist motor went out on our 2007 HHR. Researched online and found a recall/lifetime warranty GM implemented. Called GM cust Power steering electronic assist motor went out on our 2007 HHR. Researched online and found a recall/lifetime warranty GM implemented. Called GM customer support and they recommended we take the car to Harry Robertson Buick GMC dealer in Fort Smith Ar. Took the car and a copy of the recall to the service department and they wanted to do diagnostics first. They determined (at a cost of $106.00) that there was no problem with the electronic power steering motor and it has a bad body control module – cost to repair would be $589.00. I took the car to Rhodes Chevrolet in Van Buren and they looked at the recall document and agreed to repair it free of charge. They resolved the problem in a couple hours and didn’t charge me for work not needed like Harry Robertson Buick GMC tried to do. When I went back and asked about their findings and told them what resolved the issue, the service person just look at me like what the xxxx to want me to do? I asked to see the manager and he said he was off today but they would stand by their findings and the $106.0 charge was final! Never to return – others beware!!! More
