Long story Last year around August I purchased a 2016 hail damaged Buick Lacrosse. Upon purchasing said vehicle I was lead to believe by the salesman Joey that I Last year around August I purchased a 2016 hail damaged Buick Lacrosse. Upon purchasing said vehicle I was lead to believe by the salesman Joey that I would be able to get the vehicle repaired if I was to wait around for another storm. Keep in mind I am from Michigan and I have never experienced a hailstorm before. Fast forward April 2017 there was another hailstorm which caused me to believe that I could call up my insurance company and get the damage repaired. From there I received my estimate and thought I was in great shape to get my vehicle repaired, only to find out from Mike(Great Guy) the manager at the Harry Robinson body shop that I might want to call my insurance company and make sure this is legal because I could find myself in legal trouble for insurance fraud. Called my insurance company & found out that Mike was absolutely correct. While Mike is a great guy & obviously honest, I can't say the same thing for the salesman I dealt with who goes by Joey. The salesman played on my ignorance concerning car buying, yet along a hail damaged vehicle. Now I'm stuck with a vehicle that I do not feel good about driving. Being that I am a criminal justice major scheduled to graduate in the Fall, a insurance fraud charge would perhaps hamper me from future employment. I am also a vet, so that would have ruin my chances of having a career in the future. More
