The service department is terrible here! Very unprofessional and incompetent when it comes to repairs and service! save yourself and shop elsewhere!!!! They recently did an oil change to only find out later that they didn't do it I had to bring it back cause i had the same dirty oil!! The place is a FN JOKE!! More
Downtown Ford Sacramento, formerly known as Harold Ford, sucks! My name is Michael Butler. I put $1000 down on a custom, T350 I ordered. It has almost been two years. I have maintained contact with the dealership every other month or so and I have gone through three sales associates because they have such a high turnover. The sales manager reached out to me once, but since then he has quit and I can’t get a hold of anybody who can tell me where the status of my vehicle is. I received updated emails from Ford Motor Company as to the process and progress of my build. But suddenly the email stopped coming. So I called Ford motor company‘s customer care line And they told me the vehicle had been delivered to the dealership. I ordered it from. I called Harold Ford several times and spoke to several sales associates and left messages and nobody has contacted me about my vehicle. Ford told me the vehicle had been sent to the dealership over a month ago . I still can’t get a hold of anybody to tell me where my vehicle ordered is. Do not trust this dealership. They will take your deposit on a brand new vehicle and run. They have a high turnover of sales associates and nobody has contacted me from management to tell me who my new sales person or a point of contact is. and I have gone through three sales associates because they have such a high turnover. The sales manager reached out to me once, but since then he has quit and I can’t get a hold of anybody who can tell me where the status of my vehicle is. My next step is to contact California Better Business Bureau. I will also be contacting California board of automotive repair to see if I can get my money back. More
This place is now called Downtown Ford - new owners took over a couple months ago. They've really cleaned up the place so my wife and I went in to check out the Escape - and we bought one! The cost includes accessories which are not installed then they do not give the money back. They basically steal money from their customers. I've called and emailed over 7 times with no response. Took 3 weeks for service and try to follow up for multiple times but no response from them on the service status . At the end the part cost $49 and they charged me $833 so $750 on labor …. Harrold Ford used to be excellent at service and sales. They have gradually fallen off and their service has gotten worse, especially since the pandemic. More specifically, their prices have skyrocketed fo They have gradually fallen off and their service has gotten worse, especially since the pandemic. More specifically, their prices have skyrocketed for service, while their service has worsened. They don't make efforts to update you on your vehicle for extended periods (24+ hours). They have also eliminated their shuttle service, which makes it harder for local professionals that are working to give them our business. This courtesy is invaluable and they'd be smart to budget this back into what they provide their customers. There are far too many other dealer service providers offering shuttle service as a standard, even post-pandemic. The fact that their dealership and service department is a virtual ghost town ought to reveal that Harrold may not be able to keep the doors open much longer if they don't figure these issues out pronto. They should also do more training with their staff related to customer service. The employees there walk right by you and others have a very disinterested disposition when simply being cordial with paying customers would work wonders. More
