He confirmed the truck was available, and we specifically asked to be notified if anything changed. We arrived as scheduled and took the truck for a test drive. The minute we got out of the truck after the test drive, we told Nanna we wanted it. Instead of moving forward clearly, we were stalled and kept in the dark. We were given vague answers and told someone else was “there,” without any clear explanation of what that meant. We were then told to sit at a table with no explanation and left waiting. After more time passed, we walked up to the desk ourselves to find out what was going on, and only then were we told someone else was already buying it and it was “whoever pays first,” despite us not being given a fair chance to proceed. The timing and the way it was handled made it feel like our test drive was used to trigger urgency with the other buyers while we were out driving the truck, and we ended up wasting our time. At the same time, there was heavy pressure from Nanna and a manager behind the desk to finance through the dealership even though we already had a pre-approved loan. After that, they tried to steer us toward an older vehicle on the lot. If a vehicle can be sold during a scheduled test drive, that should be disclosed upfront. If a customer says they want the vehicle, they should be given a clear path to proceed. That is not what happened here. The process felt like deliberate stalling and high-pressure tactics, not an honest transaction. We left to buy elsewhere and would not recommend this dealership. More

I scheduled an appointment at Harr Toyota for June 11, 2025, to purchase a 2019 Toyota RAV4 XLE that was advertised online as Toyota Gold Certified with a clean vehicle history. I did my research, confirmed details ahead of time, and came with cash in hand, fully prepared to buy the car. When I arrived, I was assisted by a salesperson named Nana, who immediately told me the SUV had a severe mold problem. He showed me pictures of the vehicle completely dismantled from the inside and said it wouldn’t be ready until July. I asked to see the car myself and was shocked to find it stripped and clearly not drivable. None of this was disclosed beforehand. To add to the confusion, Nana then said that because of the year, the SUV was actually Silver Certified, not Gold — even though it was advertised as Gold Certified. Between the false certification, the undisclosed damage, and the car being in unusable condition, I felt completely misled. After all that, I was still questioned about why I wanted the vehicle — despite having done my homework, scheduled an appointment, and arrived ready to buy. This experience felt like a bait-and-switch, and a complete waste of my time. I left disappointed and frustrated. I cannot recommend Harr Toyota to anyone looking for transparency, professionalism, or honesty. More
