I think they go to great lengths to over sell and rip you off. Brian in their service department is a complete jerk, unfriendly, and could care less about you and if you wanted to come back to Dodge or not. I think they are a bunch of morons and are only there for the money and could care less about customer service. I will never go back there and can't wait to get out of the Dodge family for my next vehicle and my wife's vehicle, which is too bad, because I like the brand, but Harr has ruined me on them. More

I just had the most pleasant car shopping experience of my life! My wife fell in love with the new Dodge Grand Caravan. We went in and talked to AJ who found us a fully loaded van with all the options she wanted at another dealership. AJ is a very nice and professional person who answered all of our questions promptly and courteously and kept us informed all through the process. We're not big negotiators, but I got exactly the car I wanted for the price I expected to pay, no hassle, no games. One of our biggest concerns is the service department. Mechanical things break, it's the nature of the beast, but how you get treated when you take it in for repair is one of the most important considerations for us in purchasing a car. AJ took us right over to the service department and let us interview the staff. They seemed like they would be easy people to work with. My wife absolutely loves the van and I would highly recommend Harr and AJ to anyone. Actually, my friend is coming to look the van over and if he likes it, I'm sending him straight to AJ! :) More
My Dakota has had various vacuum errors. Harr has replace the gas filler tube which wasn't cheap and serval other things, still have issues and I have heard from the service reps it could be anything. Had my the gas filler tube which wasn't cheap and serval other things, still have issues and I have heard from the service reps it could be anything. Had my brakes repaired and two days later my brake lines blew and calipers started to stick. There is still something wrong with the front brakes which the service department refused to acknowledge. Recently the TCM computer went and Harr replaced it. At the time of service I didn't have a FOB (keyless entry remote). A week later I brought the truck in for a ball joint replacement and purchased a FOB. The bill orignally came to over $500 for the ball joint, replacement, FOB and programming which I purchased from harr. The original charge for programming the FOB was $103. They claimed it took a full hour to program. They cut the programming charge to $52 after I complained. I asked if the FOB programming was part of the TCM replacement. I was assured the FOB programming would not be necessary for a TCM replacement. Install instructions for the TCM say otherwise. I am trading it in for a Tacoma, not from Harr though, that is a completely different experience.. We have done a decent amount of business with Harr, service wise and new car purchases partly because they are close to our hourse. That is coming to an end though. I think the GM has his work cut out for him if he cares to have a reputable business. If there are any doubts look up Harr Motors rating on bbb.org . Their location is minutes from my house but I have had too many questionable repairs that have created additional issues or never resolved the initial problem. More
I bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport in March 2010. The salesman AJ was friendly and helpful but very unwilling to negotiate at all. The main problem I had with the deal was that I was promised cruise con salesman AJ was friendly and helpful but very unwilling to negotiate at all. The main problem I had with the deal was that I was promised cruise control as an add-on. All of my driving and commuting is highway driving and I use cruise control constantly whenever I go anywhere. The whole basic package was perfectly fine, but I asked for, and was promised by AJ, to have cruise control added on before i picked it up. We shook hands and he swore it would happen. Well he told me later that he couldn't finance the extra amount of the cruise control. Rather than come down on the overall price by the negligible amount of the cruise control he just said sorry and refused to budge any further. Well I could have walked out and maybe I should have, because I am still irked by this and driving the xxxx Jeep every day on the highway with no cruise control is making me hate it and the experience sucks. I'm sure there's nothing I can do about it now but go back and pay to have the xxxx thing installed myself. What a hassle and the extra expense makes me sorry I didn't drive a harder bargain at the table. He barely budged at all to begin with, and the incentive was only a $750 rebate which is also very poor. I love Jeeps but would recommend to my friends and clients to be sure they are getting what they asked for (and were promised) prior to purchase. More
Harr Jeep had the exact vehicle I was interested in. A one-of-a-kind Jeep Grand Cherokee limited modified to look like an SRT-8. Initially, I spoke with Dan over the phone. Very cordial and professional. one-of-a-kind Jeep Grand Cherokee limited modified to look like an SRT-8. Initially, I spoke with Dan over the phone. Very cordial and professional. Dan was able to meet my target price. I stopped by the dealership, took a test drive and was sold on the vehicle. The transaction including my trade-in was very smooth and painless. They actually drove the vehicle to my home in CT and we handled the paperwork in my home. I wouldn't hesitate to do business again with this dearlership. Overall, a wonderful experience. I was very nervous about purchasing a Jeep from another State, but Dan Saucier made it as simple as possible. After I brought the Jeep back to Maine the check engine light appeared. Even with me being 45 State, but Dan Saucier made it as simple as possible. After I brought the Jeep back to Maine the check engine light appeared. Even with me being 450 miles away they still agreed to go good on the purchase. The price was the best part of the deal, it was completely worth me driving that far to get the exact vehicle I wanted! Thanks Again! Tim Bland More
Needed a vehicle within 2 weeks. found car online, went to dealership. Vehicle "unavailable" Filled out paperwork and placed deposit on different (2x more expensive) vehicle, after being told I was approve to dealership. Vehicle "unavailable" Filled out paperwork and placed deposit on different (2x more expensive) vehicle, after being told I was approved for loan. Delivery went from next day to 2 days to one week to 3 weeks, because of a "repair". Told them this was not acceptable. My rental was up and I needed the car NOW.had been over a week already. Again got told oh well. Got immediately suspicious. Went to another dealer, found out that Harr had done NOTHING in the way of financing for me. Nothing was showing as being applied for by me. The repair was supposedly a switch/electrode for the power sliding door.I spoke with 3 different people Rich, Nate and Joe, and some female whose name I didn't get. I was lied to by no less than 4 people, and no idea why. If I could not be financed, fine, but don't lie about it. No reason why I couldn't take vehicle and bring back when part came in. Then, after reporting to BBB and Here, I got a call from Rich that was nasty and used 4 letter words. HORRIBLE sales prctices. DONT GO THERE. More
The minute I got out of my car to enter the dealership, I was amazed and quite relieved that I was not approached and smothered by a bunch of money hungry car salesmen. It was a very nice pace once I entered was amazed and quite relieved that I was not approached and smothered by a bunch of money hungry car salesmen. It was a very nice pace once I entered the establishment. I had the pleasure of working with a gentlemen named Paul Richards. He was immediately engaging and pleasant. I told him what I was looking for and that working with me and my personal situation may be a headache to him!! This was because I have had the horrible misfortune of being in a situation where my credit was abused and caused my score to drop incredibly low. Mr. Richards again was very engaging and welcoming and did not treat me any differently than, perhaps, a customer with a perfect credit rating. He crunched some numbers with his superior and after doing what I like to call the salesman-shuffle relay (back and forth a few times), he came up with a figure that I could work with. Mr. Richards kept in touch with me throughout my buying process, as I did not have the entire down payment needed to buy the car at the time of purchase. He took care of all the odds and ends and even had my car detailed and hand washed on a rainy day, when it clearly did not need to be. Overall, my experience was amazing. 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this dealership, and especially this car salesman, to anyone. My daughter will be buying a new car before years end and Harr will be the first place, and likely the last, we will visit. The entire staff at the dealership was amazing!! It is quite obvious that they all enjoy each others company and working together to make the customers happy and comfortable :) More
