My partner and I had been looking for a mid-size SUV for a few months reviewing several vehicles and dealerships. We decided on the Jeep. The design and select a car on line was perfect, the best feature was then checking inventory from local dealers. Harr in Worcester had a few cars in different colors in all the features we wanted. All the other dealers in the area had basic models or only one of the features we wanted. I contacted them online and was surprised with the quick responses. The trade-in we had was estimated and the pricing was pretty close to the actual selling price. The "perfect Pricing" program they have, takes the xx and sales pressure out of the review and purchasing of the car. Our product Specialist Adam Germano at Harr was extremely helpful and professional. We were test driving the car we wanted within the hour and closing on it shortly after. We were even able to take delivery on it that night with Harr doing all the RMV and filing for us. Great Service indeed. More

This was a huge waste of time. I went there with my family to find a car. They had located the car I wanted but it was to expensive. They said my Mom's credit score was lower than it actually was bec family to find a car. They had located the car I wanted but it was to expensive. They said my Mom's credit score was lower than it actually was because they messed it up when they ran her credit. So I ended up going with a car that I didn't want to much, but I just got it anyways. After 3 weeks I still didn't get the car because they gave my parents the wrong paper work. Then they said the bank wasn't giving the loan. All of this other nonsense. So I finally got my money (down payment) back and they offered to run my Mom's credit again. She refused because they already messed up once and it would lower her score. We are very unhappy, we spent hours waiting there. It was a gigantic waste of time. We are taking our business somewhere else, although I suppose we are happy knowing that we can tell others to stay away from here. Do not waste your time, go some place else. More

Harr has adopted a business model that should be applauded - and rewarded. Instead of the "traditional" price-it-too-high-and-make-the-customer-fight-for-a-reasonable-price games you get from most c applauded - and rewarded. Instead of the "traditional" price-it-too-high-and-make-the-customer-fight-for-a-reasonable-price games you get from most car dealers, Harr prices their cars well, up front, and removes the "steel cage death match" negotiation unpleasantness from the process. Further, contrary to what you might think, you're not substituting "nobody will get a better price" rationalizing in the place of a reasonable price. Their "perfect pricing" actually lives up to its name, which is why when they listed a car I was looking for, I went there and snapped it up. They aren't using the flip side of the transaction to abuse their customers either - their trade-in pricing was transparent (they actually showed me the numbers they got from their various pricing tools) and quite competitive, based on my research. Icing on the cake was their staff being friendly, courteous and professional. My only negative comment is this (and it seems to be an issue for dealers in general) - when the car is sold (as in, the paperwork is signed), they need to get the car off their online listings immediately, so that customers interested in cars they list online don't come from far and wide to be disappointed (as in, I took delivery of a car today, and it is still on Autotrader - it should be gone). I located a vehicle online on Tuesday and sent an email to dealer, communicated with their internet person and made appointment to go look at the jeep on Wednesday at 5pm. I arrived on time and met with Richard Asselin, was not initially impressed, wanted to tell me all these great things about the dealer and how they did business and then went on to tell me that the Jeep I was there to look at and buy had been traded to another dealer and they did not have it any longer. He had on his computer screen the emails back and forth with internet sales manager and I had told them specifically the model number of the vehicle I was there to see. I confirmed the visit that afternoon however they felt it best to have me waste three hours of my time to drive there, get my trade appraised and then told me "if you want, we can find you another one like it for only $189 fee"....... When I got a little heated, they said "well, lets take a look at your trade", completely glossing over the fact that they had no vehicle for me. I would strongly encourage you to do your homework, they wasted my time and I probably would have taken them up on the offer if they had disclosed to me prior to the trip that the Jeep was gone. Typcial low level ethics that is ingrained in the new car dealer experience. They wanted to tell me all about their $10k coffee maker but at the end of the day, wasted half my day, a half tank of gas and some nice heartburn from realizing that they are just like all the rest. James at harr in worcester was great and very accomodating. We got all paperwork done and he needed a document signed by my wife seeing that we are both on the loan. He went out of his way to my wifes work about 30 minutes away from the dealership to get her signature. That way we were able to take possesion of the vehicle that day that impressed me alot. Also the fact that there was zero pressure this was the best experience in car buying I have ever had. As many other people have experienced difficult financial situations during this economy, I found myself in an emergency situation needing a car, but not able to find a dealer who would approve me because of situations during this economy, I found myself in an emergency situation needing a car, but not able to find a dealer who would approve me because of the financial issues I've encountered. Because of my circumstances, I needed a reliable, fairly new vehicle instead of a cheap junk car with a lot of mechanical headaches and miles. Richard Thomas at Loan Express (part of the Harr family on Millbrook Street in Worcester) managed to find me financing where none of the other well known major dealerships in Worcester County would or could. I was so desperate to find a car that I also checked several of the "guaranteed to approve a loan" small car lots and didn't even qualify with them, either. I found one auto dealership in the Framingham area willing to sell me car car at such an exbortitant payment along with a very large downpayment that it was ridiculous as well as unaffordable. Richard and his team found me financing that meets my needs while also rebuilding my credit. The best part of this is not just that I was able to buy any car, but I bought a car that I love. I am driving a 2010 Dodge Caliber. I bought it in November 2011 with very low mileage. The car is wonderful. Harr has stood by the service program that came with it. I have had such an outstanding experience that I have recommended my daughter to them as well as a close friend. My daughter, who was in similar circumstances as me, is now driving a Toyota that she loves. Richard and his team treated her very, very well. My friend is picking out her car this week. When I thought I didn't have a chance of purchasing a vehicle, thanks to Richard Thomas at Loan Express, my expectations were greatly exceeded. I tried to price a vehicle at this dealership five years ago and swore I would never go back! Recently we were in the market for a new truck. I had searched on cars.com and a number of other local dealer websites and happened to notice that Harr had changed their sales tactics and now offered no-haggle pricing. They had a great selection of used vehicles in inventory. We ended up finding exactly what we wanted (a Toyota Tacoma with four doors, the longer bed, and tow package) that was one year old with less than 8K miles for a great price! Tom Sanderson was so helpful. He listened to what we were looking for, didn't try to upsell us and showed us everything he had available. We visited three dealerships, checked out five trucks and bought with Harr. It was a great experience, no pressure, no negotiating over prices. We secured our own financing and they took care of the registration. I will definitely be going back again! More
