Purchased a pre-owned Honda at Fox Honda in Grand Rapids. I was told that I had 2 free services in a year. Honda Ziegler just denied my service saying that I went over miles. The was the service manager hand I was told that I had 2 free services in a year. Honda Ziegler just denied my service saying that I went over miles. The was the service manager handled the situation was so frustrating. Dave did not give an ounce of effort to try to make it right. I will never go to Honda Ziegler again. I will drive 50 miles out of my way to not deal with their service department. More
If I could give Zeigler Honda of Kalamazoo zero stars, I would have. Do not have your car serviced at Ziegler Honda. They are liars! Our brand new 2022 CRV broke down in Kalamazoo which is 2 1/2 hours aw would have. Do not have your car serviced at Ziegler Honda. They are liars! Our brand new 2022 CRV broke down in Kalamazoo which is 2 1/2 hours away from where we live. The problem was under warranty (being that the CRV was only 6 months old). The service guy we were dealing with, Joe V., lied at every step of the process. We were at his mercy though. And the final straw was when we were about an hour away from Zeigler to pick up the CRV (because Joe had called earlier to say it was ready), he called us to say that he hadn't received payment yet and needed us to pay $4,300 for him to release the CRV to us. Oh, yeah, he was leaving for the day too so he was giving us a "courtesy call". He knew we were 2 1/2 hours away. He waited until the end of the day when there was no way we can fix the problem, or call the other dealership. He was supposed to be paid from a different Honda dealership but Zeigler said that we would have to wait for the other dealership to pay Zeigler if we were not going to pay them. Zeigler had been directly authorized by the other dealership but had nothing in writing to prove it. So, now we have to get reimbursed from the other dealership and have nothing to back up that the dealership actually authorized the work. The kicker is that he originally offered to just take a credit card "to hold until the morning but not charge it". I escalated it to the Zeigler operations manager (2 levels above Joe) who required that we pay it in full. He could have told us last week that they would need payment before releasing the car to us. They took advantage of us at the 11th hour. They are literal xxxx of the earth. More

I took my pilot for emissions warning and was charged 75 dollars to suggest repairs close to 775 dollars.3 days later the same warning light came and they charged another 75 dollars diagnostic to tell me th dollars to suggest repairs close to 775 dollars.3 days later the same warning light came and they charged another 75 dollars diagnostic to tell me that the rodent got in those 3 days and now another 1900 dollars repairs needed. I took it another repair shop who said there is no rodent damage. They just missed a small leak which was the original problem. This experience proves that this dealership is unethical and recommends unnecessary repairs just make money. More

She goes on to explain multiple times how the last oil place must have done it, multiple scenarios how they did it and to contact them for money. The whole interaction seemed fishy- like she was trying to overcompensate and pass blame onto the last place. Plus she wouldn’t even look me in the eyes. It was supposed to be a quick $45 stop that has now turned into over $1000 and possibly could even total my car. They put a temporary plug in and told me that the ONLY solution is a whole new oil pan. I called around, there are various other cheaper fixes, they were just trying to pull one over on me. Avoid this place and go to a real shop. More

The sales rep asked me how long I had been married and said my husband wouldn’t divorce me if I purchased it anyway. Ouch!!! First of all, I bought the car on my own without my husband. I’m a grown woman capable of making my own decisions. Second, asking me about my marriage was highly unprofessional. I was quite uncomfortable. Should have walked away from the purchase. I had to make that threat to get the vehicle in my hands. Bought the car from Troy, but he was not the person who finalized the sale due to a family emergency. I cannot remember the other rep who made me so uncomfortable. More
