Two years & 74,000 miles later I want I purchased a new Civic in 2012 from Noel Brooks. We got a good deal & were treated with respect & friendliness. Two years & 74,000 miles later I wanted to trade it in. I went back to see Noel & he was awesome. In a matter of minutes we were doing the paperwork on a 2014 Civic. 5 hour oil change We decided to take our car in to get a simple oil change not knowing that it would be a terrible mistake. We took a car to Terry Lee for an oil change and after 20 minutes the service guy came out asking if we had any trouble with the driver side window. Well come to find out after my girlfriend left she realized that her window was off track and not in the upright position where it usually sits because the window motor is dead. We take it back and demand that they fix what they broke and never once did I feel like the service managers wanted to listen to what I had to say about it. They kept saying that they didn't break it and did not want to fix it without us paying for the parts to repair it. We are extremely upset and feel as though we were taken advantage of. And for a 100 dollar part they wanted 300 to repair it without labor. I would never recommend going to Terry Lee Honda in Beautiful Avon. They are rude and don't care about customer satisfaction. Taking your money is their true priority. I went to Terry Lee Honda December 2013 to buy a used Honda. Was looking at everything around $20,000 or less. David Woods was my salesman. After just 10 minutes of being there David started pushing me towards certain cars because "I simply can't afford what I thought I could." This was prior to even listening to my budget or starting the financing process. Fast forward to the financing. After I "picked" the Honda Civic David said I could "afford" we started the financing process of running my credit and talking to lenders. After a short time David came back from their loan specialist and said the best offer they could do was 11.39% APR. I told him that was ridiculous with both my credit and my co buyers credit being as high as it is. He went back for a short only to come back and say "No this is the best we could do." If I didn't have a car that was on it's last leg, I would had fought this more but I simply needed a newer car that asap at the time. After accepting the terms, we talked about all the little things wrong with my Civic. There were certain pieces of plastic broke, the driver side window didn't work and the oil life was pretty low when I test drove it. I told him part of my buying this one was that all of those things needed to be fixed before picking it up the next day. He said "Sure that is no problem. Everything will be done by then." I needed it done by then because I am always too busy with work to drop everything and get things fixed on a car. Well big shocker coming. I arrive the next night to pick it up and NOTHING was fixed. There weren't even floor mats in it like in the test drive. It even had the Red Bull can dripping on the back seat from the day before when David was sitting back there for the test drive drinking it. So I had to make an appointment to come back two weeks later and take a whole day off work to get all that stuff fixed. When I got to the service department two weeks later they started quoting me all these prices to fix everything and naturally I got upset and explained that Mr Woods told me all this would be done for free. Well next big shocker coming. Every time from that day on when they tried calling or finding David Woods, he was no where to be found. Apparently within a month of my purchase he just stopped showing up to work. Now flash forward 3 months later and everyone I tried talking to at Terry Lee said they understand my bad experience but cannot help me refinance or reconcile any of the stuff I went through to get my car. Needless to say after months of headaches I will NOT be returning. They only give TLC to your wallet and after they have your money they don't car. Period. More

The car runs fine.. what I was unhappy with was the car was sold to me with 1/4 of a tank of gas. They also told me they cleaned the car out.. when I got in..I found a razor blade on the arm rest and a stain in the back seay. The oil was at 18 percent..even though I was told the oil had been changed. And after I signed all the paperwork I wasn't bid a nice farewell. .it was like they just wanted to get me out of their hair. Oh well. I hope they don't treat every customer this way and I'd have to really hesitate to purchase a vehicle from them again. More

Like most people, buying a car can be a time-consuming, intimidating, scary and frustrating experience. TLH does away with that. No haggling, no endless hours of "let me to talk to sales, let me go talk to finance." They tell you what the price is, and in two experiences, it is below what Consumer Reports and Truecar say it should be. No waiting and wondering where the sales personnel wandered off to. No high-pressure tactics for either the sale or after-sale add-ons. They understand that not everyone who walks in will buy a car, and that's OK. They were transparent in what the prices were and competitive with trade-in prices. Perhaps MOST IMPORTANTLY, is the fact that TLH is ranked as one of the top places to work. Like other high-ranked employers, happy employees mean a better customer experience, regardless of the industry. Never buy anywhere else. More
