I recently bought a 2022 used Cadillac at Hare Honda. It was easily the best car buying experience we ever had. We live in Ohio about 150 miles away from Hare Honda in Avon, IN. We found the car we wanted online and began communicating by phone to get the information we needed. We drove over in late December, 2023 to see the car and make a decision. In the interim, we had an email from Marcus telling us that he strongly encourages his people to "follow up" and to expect to hear from them. And we did hear from the team! To drive 150 miles for a car requires that you have confidence in the people you are going to do business with. Marcus' team did just that. I will probably forget someone: but I must mention Umer (who is Mr. USA by his initals), Greg (who came in on his day off to meet with us), Theo, Levi, Nyla. We recently received the title information from Sami to complete this transaction. To Marcus: My wife and I would say without hesitation: It was a top notch team effort! Thank you, Hare Honda team! Also a good experience with the finance person Levi P. He ran me through the options, focused on the important bits, and was not pushy at all. More
Went in to lease a Honda civic in white. The guy kept trying to get me to buy any other kind of car except the one I wanted because mine had to be ordered which I was fine with. The problem for him was leasing rates would be down when my car would come in. He tried to get me to buy any other car on his lot. After over an hour I gave up and said I would take a blue sport (not what I wanted at all). Still angry after I left, I found another Honda dealership and told him I didn't want that car and I'm going somewhere else. He didn't care and said okay thanks. Avoid at all costs. More

However, when it came to my referral check I asked if I had to fill anything out and my salesperson specially said, “Don’t worry I will take care of it.” And now when I try to reach my salesperson Miguel he doesn’t remember for some reason and is telling me to contact his manager Theo Walker. And his manager Theo will not respond to a SINGLE text or phone call. This was the same guy when I was filling out paper work a month before was handing me business cards and water bottles. It is not the $100 referral that is bothering me, I could care less. It is the blatant disrespect of being ignored at an establishment where I spent thousands of dollars. This guy does not even have the decency to flat out call me and tell me I’m not getting a referral fee. I do not recommend doing business with Theo, but I understand it can be hard to find cars right now so just be cautious. And get EVERYTHING in writing. And my biggest regret is giving this guy a 5 star review on his survey. He literally came over constantly to tell me fill out the review and to give him 5 stars which I did, because I believed that these guys were good people. But I guess there good until they get their 5 star review and then who cares about the customer. More

The service is a lottery, you can get someone good, but you can get Nelson Catalan, for example, who was likely trying to exploit me financially by charging things I was covered for and never has been char you can get Nelson Catalan, for example, who was likely trying to exploit me financially by charging things I was covered for and never has been charged in all previous services in the car. And then Theodore Waller presented the worse customer relations I've seen for a person working with that in my entire life, sending email in ALL CAPS to respond to my complaint. To the end I had both saying they'd solve the issue with the improper charging of services, by email and phone and doing nothing about it for a month. American Honda also does not give feedback on complaints, so you just feel like NEVER AGAIN. Cheers More
Salesperson (Alan) was a jerk! Didn’t seem to interested in selling us a vehicle. We made an offer that he didn’t even take to the manager to consider.
