I built a vehicle on USAA's car buying service. The information was sent to three different dealerships. Of those three, only Hardin seemed like they wanted to work with me. One called a few times to l information was sent to three different dealerships. Of those three, only Hardin seemed like they wanted to work with me. One called a few times to let me know they were searching for my vehicle, but they soon lost interest and couldn't offer much of a deal. The second of three kept up good communication and gave me a great trade-in price, but after one day they too stopped communicating. In the meantime, I was also working with my local dealer, who said they would match any deal to earn my business, but couldn't deliver on that promise. They also lied to me by saying the vehicle was already sold when Hardin was trying to acquire it for me. When I first began communication, I told all three dealers that I wanted an "honest" dealer who wasn't going to add back-end fees at the last minute or try bait-and-switch tactics. Russell Pugh at Hardin was the ONLY one who acknowledged these concerns, the others completely ignored that part of my email. So after several days of searching, Tony from Hardin calls to offer a deal on a different Terrain because the interior color was Black not Titanium. I accepted their deal because a good price is a good price. No more than 15 minutes later, they call to inform me that my desired color is in stock and they will honor the verbal deal for the other since it had already been presented. Talk about stand-up ethics! You would think that is the end of the story, but thankfully no. Keep in mind that Hardin also matched the trade-in deal I was offered by a large volume dealer, W/O seeing my car! I drive down that day, and everyone was friendly. I was greeted by every member of the Hardin team with a smile and friendly attitude, even the car washers stopped to say hi and open the door for my wife and I. Russ Pugh got us going on the paperwork while he worked on my desired accessories and trade-in. Even when my wife and I didn't understand something about the paperwork, Milton Carballo didn't get impatient, he walked us through it until we understood and seemed happy to do so. Russ went above and beyond his duties by letting me use his office computer to switch my insurance over. He then gave us the vehicle tutorial outside, coupled with at least 15 minutes of small talk about his family/etc. During the tutorial, we notice the fuel wasn't topped off, so Russ gave us the fuel slip to do it ourselves. I realise some customers may be annoyed by this hiccup, but it gave my wife and I the ability to go down to the local mexican restaurant (wouldn't have know it was there otherwise), fill up the vehicle, and get on the road. I have a GMC dealer 1 mile from my house, I could go there for service in the future, but I have never felt taken care of, not to mention the fact that they lied to me. I will make the 40 mile drive to Hardin for service. I will also go back when it comes time to replace my other vehicle with a Buick. I have never been treated so well at a dealership. They made me so welcome I may just stop down to shoot the breeze when I'm n the area. THANK YOU RUSS AND HARDIN!! More

Of all my experiences regarding new or used vehicle purchases, this has been the most relaxed, respectful and courteous staff I have dealt with. Our sales person Russell Pugh made buying our new 2011 Buick Regal very painless. He was very professional in the way he treated us, both my wife and myself. We have never purchased a new car in such a short time frame. We arrived at the dealership at 10AM and was on the road with our new car by 1PM. Not once did we witness a bait-an-switch attitude by Russell. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Russell as well.Russell is an extremely good asset to this dealership and hopefully the dealership appreciates his work ethics. My Fiance bought his 2009 Buick Enclave at Hardin and loves it. He plans on trading it in, in about a year. I went online and searched for an SUV and was directed to Hardin Buick. I found a great 2007 BMW 3X so I sent an email and called and spoke to a sales representative. I went down for a test drive and fell in love with the car, so I bought it. I now have two great cars to choose from, one a Mercedes I purchased in February, from a Mercedes dealership and now this great BMW SUV. The sales staff was great, especially Mr. Norbert Geismann who helped me with my purchase. I look forward to doing business with Hardin Buick in the future. DEE More
I leased a Buick Regal CXL Turbo. The entire Hardin sales staff was SUPER! They even got me a lower payment than I was originally quoted. I have never, ever, had that happen at a car dealership. The shortest time I ever spent buying a car. These guys are super efficient. While I was waiting to go into finance, they were showing me all the neat features of my new Regal, and even setup the bluetooth for my cell phone. They really cared about me knowing how to use everything. They made me feel very special. If would recommend Hardin to everyone. I received written quotes via e-mail for both my trade in and the cost of the new truck. Salesman tells me trade-in quote he gave me is worst case scenario. After the car is evaluated, my trade in value drops $1000.00. We then play the "let me see what my manager can do" game for 30 minutes before I finally give in to their demands. We then go into the office to finish the paperwork as I am already pre-approved with their financing company. Written quote stated 0% financing for 72 months and $2,005.00 rebate for a high FICO score. After filling out paperwork and now being at the dealership for over two hours, suddenly the rebate can't be used because it's in conjunction with the 0% financing. Geez this is why I got all of the numbers IN WRITING before entering the dealership. Hardin GMC still didn't honor their written quote so I walked out. This is why everyone thinks car dealers are unethical. They are! This is the only business I have every come across that can put things in writing and not honor them. Shame on you Hardin GMC More
