I was apprehensive, thinking that the promotion was just to get the customer in the door and then let them know of the many needs of the car. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! I waited in a very comfortable lounge until my car was ready for me to take home. They completed their routine check points and told me that my car checked out on all accounts. The employees are exceptional...the all appear to get along and are courteous not only to the customer buy to each other. I left with the impression that they all really loved their jobs. It was a great feeling. More

This service, as with all others, was handled efficiently. The staff is great. My disappointment was revealed the following day. I had the repaired tire re-installed on my vehicle, but the spare was just placed in the cargo area and not returned to the storage area under the vehicle. More

Need an estimate in advance, and a fair charge. I brought my car in to have 2 things fixed that I thought were caused by previous technicians, so I did not expect any charge. - The back wiper wa I brought my car in to have 2 things fixed that I thought were caused by previous technicians, so I did not expect any charge. - The back wiper was just installed recently, and the first time I used it, it got stuck on the louver. There were two bolts missing on the louver that were previously there, so I thought they might have been removed by whoever worked on the car previously and that caused the wipers to catch. - My windshield wiper spray didn't work previously, so a previous tech tried to do me a favor my connecting the front hose to the back windshield wiper, however every time I used the back wiper, the front spray would run continuously. Having it run continuously made it impossible to see to drive, so I asked them to undo that. Instead, she called me and said the work was done to repair the mistakes and the cost was $150. She never gave me an estimate, and she just charged for 1.5 hours of labor. She charged for the time it took to repair their mistakes, and for replacing the bolts. I discussed this with her in depth as to what I was being charged for, but she was not specific. She just said it was the labor to fix everything, including the bolts. It doesn't take 1.5 hours to replace 2 bolts, and I should not have been charge for anything else. She said it should have cost $250, but she was giving me a break. Then later she told me the $250 had included the cost to replace the front water pump, which was not done, so the $150 was really the full cost of his time, and I got no break. So now I realize that what she said conflicted, and she was just charging whatever she thought she had to, to cover his time, without regard for the fact that these issues were caused by the techs. I got no notice in advance that I would have to pay for anything. The only work that was done was just to install two bolts in a louver, and to disconnect the water hose from the back wiper. If this had been tested at the time the windshield wiper was installed, this could have been fixed then, but obviously they just installed the wipers without checking them. The previous wipers worked without any contact with the louvers, so they used a different model that created the problem. I feel I was hugely overcharged for what was a very minor issue. I feel I should have been given an estimate before being charged anything. And I feel she was absolutely not honest about what the real cost of the work should have been, telling me I was getting a break down from $250, and then later explaining that the $250 would have included a $50 water pump and another $50 of labor. She insisted that because she wasn't here when the previous work was done, that she didn't know what happened or why. I talked to Matt Cline, who had handled by car previously, and even had him come out to talk to me, so she knew where to go to get any information she needed. I finally gave up trying to get her to reduce the cost, and I paid the bill for $150, but I think someone should really review this issue and see if it should really cost 1.5 hours in labor at $100 an hour to do the minor job of replacing 2 bolts and disconnecting a hose that never worked properly in the first place. I have been bringing my 300 ZX to Harbor for eight years, because I really felt the quality of work was high enough to justify the high prices, but I question that now. If the work done needs to be redone, I shouldn't have to pay extra for that. I should get fair estimates in advance. I would like a credit. I wouldn't normally spend the time to do a review, but I thought this charge was unusually excessive. More
My day for a 15K (service). Very, very good customer service and hospitable wait. I requested a car wash also and explained a problem we were experiencing with a rear door lock. Very, very good customer service and hospitable wait. I requested a car wash also and explained a problem we were experiencing with a rear door lock. The service greeter opened the door to a secret switch on the inner door frame - click _ problem solved (to my embarrassment). All service was completed as required & car sparkled to my satisfaction. The service did take longer that expected, 2.7 hrs, however the administrative crew took GREAT care to keep me relaxed and content. Highlight of the day was I met a fellow Ohio State Buckeye nut/fan which always makes my day. I will return. More
