Hello, Kathleen. It does not appear that the full benefits of the new VIP Plus program were explained to you. VIP Members get discounts on all service work now, including tire rotations, which has the potential to save much more money for our customers than the previous promotion. The advertising was not false. The previous promotion did include free oil changes. We modified that in July, and we also modified our advertising, which included Facebook. We are sorry that the modification in the ".com" sticker program was not mentioned to you prior to your visit to the dealership. The modification was made early this summer and we did send out several emails to our customers in an attempt to notify them prior to their next visit. Thank you for taking time to let us know about your concerns with the modification in the service discount program. With diesel Titans, the oil changes were not free but rather discounted as it is quite an extensive process and parts total over $200. The original oil change price for those who purchased that type of pickup with the dealership was discounted from the original $500 cost, including the parts and labor. Now the service is discounted to $400, but you are also now receiving discounts on other work needed to properly maintain your Titan, which was previously not offered. This was implemented to allow you many more opportunities to save money than before as there were no other discounts offered. We would be happy to go over the full list of benefits for you. And we did attempt to notify all of our customers several times via email, which we deemed to be the most efficient form of communication.
