Free oil change for car purchase was not given When I arrived at the dealership for my 10000 mile service, I was assuming I would receive my free oil change for purchase and keeping my decal on th When I arrived at the dealership for my 10000 mile service, I was assuming I would receive my free oil change for purchase and keeping my decal on the car for Harbor Nissan. I was told that the free oil changes were discontinued recently. I only received one free oil change at 5000 miles. I think that those purchasing new cars after the policy change is OK. But, when promising free oil changes for life with purchase of a car, this promise needs to be kept for those purchasing vehicles prior to the policy change. I also asked that the service center rotate my tires-since it is part of the 10000 mile service recommendation. When paying the bill, I asked if the rotation was made. The service rep said the technicians examined the tires and decided that a rotation was not needed. He then added, "We have a lot of service techs out sick today". So does that mean the tires are OK or there were not enough employees to complete the service? More

I had heard this, but went in anyway because I got a coupon from the Harbor Nissan site for a free oil change that expires 12/31/17. Then I'm told this is not valid because it was a mistake and was only up for 10 minutes!?!? I have never heard of a company not honoring a coupon that they had it up on their website by their mistake no matter how long it was up there. When I bought the car I wasn't happy with the sales person but I wanted to buy local and the free oil changes for life helps make that choice. All the tech advisor and service manager wanted to do was convince me how wonderful the new plan was and not deal with the fact that I had been promised the old plan. Charlotte county is still a pretty small place but word spreads fast and there are other options out there for automotive people who stand by their word. I doubt I will be back there again for service, unless it's to have them take the ugly sticker off the back of my car that now doing me no good whatsoever. More

Very Disappointed When we purchased our car from Harbor Nissan the deal included free oil change as long as we owned the vehicle. A deal is a deal! When we arrived for our oil change yesterday we were informed that we now have to pay $18.95 for our oil change. In other words, Harbor Nissan has sold so many vehicles which included this deal, that they now can't hold up to their promise. This review has nothing to do with service performed, but broken promises made at time of purchase. More
BAD SERVICE TOOK OVER AN HOUR AND HALF AFTER I WAS TOLD 30 MINUTES. I scheduled an appointment over 3 weeks prior to the appointment and was NOT told that I was TOOK OVER AN HOUR AND HALF AFTER I WAS TOLD 30 MINUTES. I scheduled an appointment over 3 weeks prior to the appointment and was NOT told that I was now being charge for the oil change service. My car takes synthetic oil so what I have always done was bring the oil and nissan would replace the oil and give me a filter for free. Now basically they charged me for the filter and I supplied all the oil. They inspection was not done on half the items that are usually check. I know I need CV joints and they did not mark them off. They stated they were good. All though the time before that they had marked that they were going to need to be fixed soon (yellow). I just put brand new tires on as well and they marked I needed tires!. Now that I am paying for this service I would expect it to be done fully and correctly! I am requesting a refund for the oil change since I basically brought/bought my own oil and the vehicle was NOT inspected. On top of that I had to request the inspection paperwork after I paid and my car had been pulled around to the front and told I was done. then he finally came back 20 minutes later with an inspection paper that was only have done and incorrectly filled out. I am very unhappy! More

The representative on the phone did not inform me of any changes so I was totally blindsided when I arrived and was told that I needed to pay the $18.99 plus tax. I expressed my unhappiness in a calm manner and decided to go ahead with the oil change since I needed to have it done that day. I also expressed my disappointment while I was being led to the cash register but did not feel that the rep was very sympathic.. I am assuming it is probably tough to have to tell customers this news over and over so I give him a pass but feel the company should keep their promises and at the VERY least send out a notification of the changes OR the rep that made my appointment should have told me so I could have decided if I wanted to shop around . I am not unhappy with the service provided by the mechanics but am unhappy with the way the company handled the changes . More
