A Mostly Pleasant Experience When we walked into Harbor Nissan we knew exactly what we wanted in a car. We had looked on line and saw the 2015 Altima SV we liked. We were introd When we walked into Harbor Nissan we knew exactly what we wanted in a car. We had looked on line and saw the 2015 Altima SV we liked. We were introduced to Matt Garland. He knew exactly what we wanted and after some questions knew what we wanted in a car. He then went and brought it forward for us to check out. Matt is a very congenial, knowledgeable Sales Representative and a genuine asset to the dealership. In no way did we fell pressured to upgrade or change our minds. Dan McMahon was excellent also in helping us to finance the remaining amount due (we paid partially in cash). Both Matt and Cameron were able to give us detailed accounts about the purchase and to answer all our questions. However, at one point Matt brought over a young man who was an Allstate Insurance Rep. Even though, we initially did not want to change insurance companies, we listened to what he had to say. When he was finished explaining things to us we decided to change to Allstate because we were told that there would be no initial outlay of funds that day, the cost would be less than our current insurance and that the switch over from 21st Century would be done by Allstate. We had to go back to our home to get the trade-in car and license plate. When we returned to finish up with this fellow he had gone home, but there were two women there (one a trainee) and we were told we had to write an "administrative fee" check of $267.00 that day and we were given temporary insurance cards. I think it would behoove Harbor Nissan to eliminate Allstate or any insurance company from their dealership. We feel scammed in the sense that our regular insurance is no different from Allstate. We wrote the check because we were tired and it was late, but we were truly unhappy with the insurance agent. Matt had nothing to do with this and we are extremely happy with the service he provided and would recommend him and Harbor Nissan to anyone with the exception of the Allstate people.. More

Doing The Impossible. Williamson, North Port FL I recieved one of the mailings from Harbor Nissan with a few impressive rebates. I had a minute on Monday took a look at their website and found a Crew Cab Titan that appealed to me. So figuring it was a long shot at best since my trade in was a 2014 Pathfinder that was a month over a year old. Mr Cris Bennett phones me and introduces himself and asks if there is anything he can do for me. I tell him my story with the trade in, want to keep the payment about the same and no out of pocket money. He tells me that it may be possible when can I come in? I go down at the end of the day so they can see my Pathfinder to give me a fair trade in value and discuss a few options. After Tom Bishop puts the plan together we all decided that I keep my Pathfinder for at least another year. The next day Chris calls me and tells me they were able to restructure the deal and got me pretty close to where I wanted to be. Went down 7/17/2015 to pick up my new truck and was totally impressed at how streamlined that process was. Aaron Kennedy the F&I person had all the paperwork in order so all my wife and I had to do was sign papers. That took a total of 20 minutes.! Bottom line if you are looking for a car without the hassles from pushy salesmen then Chris Bennett is the one you want to see. For a young man he sure does have a very positive outlook on life and is a very polite person. He will not sell you a car just to make his commision. Keep up the great work Chris and you will go far in life! Kudos to you for working so hard at such a young age! Lets see if we can do the impossible again next year. More

Chris Bennett, although a young salesman, was very personable, professional and knowledgeable about the cars. He was not a "pushy" salesman, but knew how to best present his products. Without pressure, I found the exact Sentra SR I was looking for and at a very affordable price. I was able to buy something I really liked and which I could afford. Chris was excellent in all aspects of his job, made you feel at home and we were able to complete the purchase with ease. II feel Pleased. I wanted to see in person the 2016 Maxima Platinum and as I saw it I noticed the SR. Heidi took me around and introduced me to the Maxima and she was I wanted to see in person the 2016 Maxima Platinum and as I saw it I noticed the SR. Heidi took me around and introduced me to the Maxima and she was a joy in doing so. I took my wife to the dealership so she could see it and she loved the lines of the maxima, made buying it much easier. The dealership was very up front and personal about my trade in and for that I was very thankful. Only regret was that Heidi was on a sick day the day I picked up the maxima SR.
