There's a reason I go all the way to Santa Rosa to Hansel VW instead of the dealers close to me. The service writers are great - Kirsten has helped me with several visits and made the process easy every time VW instead of the dealers close to me. The texting app they use to review and approve additional service items they find during inspection I thought was really convenient as well. I've never had a problem. The place in Walnut Creek, 3 visits 3 major problems. The employees matter! More

Chris Cazares made the purchase of my new ID. 4 very straightforward and patiently answered all my questions and I had many as this was my first electric vehicle. Generally very good experience here. Jason did an excellent job engaging immediately in sales and was clear and responsive / no games played and clear expectations on price. Finance team, especially Brian but also Ken / professional and easy to deal with, no BS. The only thing that kept them from a “5” rating was that on the way back from picking up the car, the fuel pump failed on a brand new car. Obviously that wasn’t the dealers fault but even after informing them that this had happened the first day and I had had to find a dealer near home to diagnose and repair the part and didn’t have the car for a week, nobody followed up or checked in or offered to help..: that was a bummer. But all was under warranty and was resolved. Also the dealership was accommodating later on when we had an issue with getting the Financing cleared. So overall I would highly recommend them. More
