Very poor communication to update work status. I was left wondering if my car was ready to pick up or I had to find a ride home because they didn't arrange a Lyft. No text messages with updates. I had to call the sales dept. to pass a message to the service dept. because no one would answer the phone there. The rep who received my car was very grumpy because I entered the dealership through the wrong driveway, but there are not signs indicating "the right way". He explained twice how to do it (if there is a next time), because apparently he thought I was very "dense" to get the message the first time. I requested an estimate to replace the tires and the rear brakes. The rep who returned my car didn't know anything about the work that was done, and no estimate was prepared. No apologies either. To finish my experience, I found my car with the mat dirty and loose; I had to shake it and fix it in the dark and under the rain. On the bright side, the mechanic did a good job repairing the oil leak. Through the whole experience I felt like a second class customer. More

The most impressive part, though, was post-sale: at the time of the sale they gave me a small hardback notebook and a pen and told me to write down all my questions. Two weeks later, they asked me to come in to go over all the questions and for some tutorials on various aspects of the car. They didn't have to do this--I'd already paid them, but they did it anyway. And now I know my new car much better than any car I've previously owned. I'd buy from them again...and hope for the same experience. More
Our experience at Hansel Subaru was overall good. David was an excellent sales person and he worked diligently to help us get the best deal. He did an excellent job of highlighting areas of excellence in the vehicle knowing that we had 20 years of experience with other Subarus. As with all car purchases, the process took upwards of five hours. As we did not arrive at the dealers until 330, we ended up leaving there with a car by about 930 at night. I was frustrated at not being able to have anything to eat other than some popcorn. I was offered some candy by the finance person, but my body was not willing to take on that type of junk food. I would recommend being smarter about what is offered to people who are spending an awful lot of money in a very short period of time. Overall, the process was slower than I would’ve wanted but we ended up with a great car at a reasonable price. More
Tim Kain was the salesperson I met at the Hansel dealership. He took forever to get the best price quote I asked for then he would not give it to me unless I promised to buy the car right then even dealership. I had to leave because I was sick of being treated like a child and it had already been 1.5 hours. Then he posed as another salesperson over text trying to understand what went wrong. He told me I walked away from a deal, but everyone else I talked to gave me a quote in less than 5 min and more than $3k under msrp without the added fees and without making me promise to buy their car. He then kept texting me even though I told him to “lose my number” in response to his progressively rude texts. More
