a few years ago our family had some major setbacks financialy and i was so worried about buying another vehicle. our family shared one vehicle for a year and a half. and finally the opportunity arri financialy and i was so worried about buying another vehicle. our family shared one vehicle for a year and a half. and finally the opportunity arrised that we needed to buy something. i didnt know what i wanted, but i told my husband if i am supposed to have another car, when i see it and test drive one if i am supposed to have one it will happen. well we stoppd at hanover hyundai because i saw an suv on the lot. that i loved but it was way out of our price range ,,but deep inside i knew this was out of my price range. i talked with steve told him i would love to be the owner of that suv gave him my phone number and we went home. we talked with him on the phone 2 times the following week and told him realistically we cant afford the suv and if he found something more in our price range, call us. well he did, we went to the dealership and test drove a car that was affordable, very well taken care of from the previous owner and good carfax info. i couldnt turn it down and they were so helpful in getting me in that car. i was so excited to be able to be processed for another loan after all the previous problems, i never thought we would be approved, but we were. they were respectful, private, compassionate to our feelings, and made us feel very comfortble. we had been looking for something, but we didnt know what we wanted, but i do believe the buyer has to be aware of what is put in front of them,. my response to the lady that said her daugher was sold a lemon and it needed alot of work after the warranty expired an she bought a car with 102,000 miles and did not buy an extended warranty and blames the person that sold her the car in the first place , she didnt do her homework, you cant blame some one else for reasons if you did or did not do something, she did not have to buy a car that had 102,000 miles. right there should have been the red flag go up i rate hanover hyundai a great place to buy a vehicle thanks hanover hyundai vickie and craig More
The only nice thing was Richard Ruby was a nice gentlemen to deal with otherwise stay away from this place. My daughter brought a 2008 Elantra since it was used it only had a 30 day warranty, well wouldn't y to deal with otherwise stay away from this place. My daughter brought a 2008 Elantra since it was used it only had a 30 day warranty, well wouldn't you know it's now been 60 days and it needs repairs done. the plugs and wires were never replaced on this vehicle (even though it had 102,000 miles) which I don't know a lot about cars but I do have enough sense to know they should have been, there's a bad emergency censor so it will not pass emissions testing here in Md and since the plugs are bad the cylinder misfires and the engine light is on so she cannot take her driving test. She used her own money to purchase this car, guess she's learning early in life about getting bad deals. More
The reason why I have given Hanover Hyundai a bad rating is because the vehicle they sold me a , 2009 Pontiac G3 5 door coupe is a lemon . Since the second day I had the vehicle April 25 , 2012 I've experi is because the vehicle they sold me a , 2009 Pontiac G3 5 door coupe is a lemon . Since the second day I had the vehicle April 25 , 2012 I've experienced problems with it every month up until September 6 , 2012 . I have taken the vehicle back to Hanover Hyundai constantly to be serviced but their mechanics cannot find the problem . The vehicle keeps losing power and coming to a complete stop in the middle of the road and highway . I have tried to take the vehicle back to have them replace it or buy it back under their " We Deliver Satisfaction Guarantee " but they refuse to replace it or buy it back . Apparently they do not stand behind their guarantee or their new and used vehicles . I have no faith or trust in Hanover Hyundai , their affiliates , or their vehicles and I would recommend that no one shops there . More
I have to say that I was quite suprised with this dealership. All my questions were answered by the salespersons and he was very knowledgeable. I visited this dealership three times and about 20 ot dealership. All my questions were answered by the salespersons and he was very knowledgeable. I visited this dealership three times and about 20 others before making a decision. Michael was very patient and not in the least bit pushy in trying to sell me a car. I did 2 test drives with this vehicle and 2 others before making a decision. There was very little haggeling and I got the price I wanted. He picked me up from the rental car company to bring me to the dealership in my brand new car. The vehicle was all cleaned up and ready to drive. It was exactly as desribed and much more. I will keep my tag on the front of my vehicle to remind me to tell people about my car buying experience. The perks of a free car wash weekly is a nice touch along with inspections for life. I would highly recommend this dealership to all my friends and family. A great expierence all the way around! Thank you again! More

I see that there has only been one comment on here but I I see that there has only been one comment on here but I figured I would put in my 2 cents. I dont know what the previous persons problem was but I see that there has only been one comment on here but I figured I would put in my 2 cents. I dont know what the previous persons problem was but obviously they hate the world. What a quinsidence it was that I dealt with Michael Masko as well and I am on the other side of the boat with my experience. This was my situation: I had called into the dealership in reference to a rare pre-owned vehicle they had on the internet. I have to say that in my whole 20 years of driving I have never bought a vehicle from a dealership and didnt plan on it because of all the horror stories you hear. I have to say that I was quite suprized from the get-go. All my questions were answered to the salespersons knowledge and he had told me things he was unsure of that he would write down and call me back with answers...Within 5 minutes I got a return call of everything in full detail. Hanover is a little bit over an hour from where I live, but I decided to make an appointment and take a drive out there considering my rental vehicle had to go back the very next day. When I got to the dealership the vehicle was sitting outside the showroom, all cleaned up and ready to drive. It was exactly as desribed, I had asked Michael on the phone about any paint blemishes and he had noted the small dent on the rear door just as I saw. We went on a test drive, came back and did the paperwork, everything was accurate steady paced. Michael even suggested that I could leave my rental there and he would arrange for the company to come pick it up. I received a phonecall the next day to make sure I was completely satisfied which I was without a doubt. Even though I am distant to the dealership I have kept my hanover hyundai tag on the front of my vehicle to remind me to tell people about my car buying experience. I would highly recommend Mr. Masko and his dealership to all my friends and family. A plus job guys! Thank you again! More
I would NOT recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. It is a shoddy, podunk run down joint, with the most arrogant sales person I have ever met; Mikey Masko- Mike Masko...whatever he goes by. What a je It is a shoddy, podunk run down joint, with the most arrogant sales person I have ever met; Mikey Masko- Mike Masko...whatever he goes by. What a jerk! He acts like he is on speed; the way he runs all over the place. If you have problems keeping a quick pace, don't see him! He's loud and obnoxious; you can hear him laugh all the way across the building. He sold a friend of mine a car; she is a single mother and the thing left her sitting in her driveway that night! I spent about an hour with him and was out of there. He also went to great lengths to tell me at how much product they push out- well no wonder! The sales manager practically gives the vehicles away, without thinking if they are of good quality! He won't even come out to speak with you or give you the time of day; a great personality! While I was waiting for "Mikey" to take to his umpteen calls, when he was supposed to be dealing with ME, the other employees were just wandering around the premises, looking desperate. I have taken my current vehicle to be serviced there and that was great. George Little is the service manager I think and he is SO nice and friendly. He has a great attitude. So from here on out, I will never purchase a car from them, but I will always service my vehicles with them. More
