We are sorry the trade appraisal didn’t go as you would have preferred. There are various reasons why a trade may not appraise in agreement with the owner. Sometimes mechanical, mileage, exterior or interior condition, current market value, can all be factors. Also, a dealer can seldom put the same value on a trade that the owner has. The owner has a history attached to the vehicle, memories, and unforgettable stories. However, there remains a reason why it has been decided to trade it in. It will always mean more to the owner than it will to the dealer. It can be the most delicate part of the process. Off Lease Only makes it a practice to ALWAYS offer fair market value for any car, even if you don’t choose to buy one from us. Any system on the computer is a tool used to estimate the value of your trade, but none of those systems ever see, drive or inspect the car. To give a final and accurate trade value, they would need to see your car, drive it, and inspect it. This is utter nonsense. I used the trade in value provided by YOU on YOUR website after uploading photos, providing all of the required information about the car and speaking with Anne (who told me the website numbers were spot-on). I did not do anything independent of your dealership, and I am happy to provide photos of the figures provided by the Off Lease Only system. I would encourage anyone reading this review to go elsewhere. These people post the exact same response to every complaint, anyway. Finally, the comment about "history attached to the vehicle, memories, and unforgettable stories" is ludicrous. It's a car, not a spouse. I wanted to trade the car in for something different. You provided numbers that were not accurate and then blamed it on me, the potential customer. I'm sure there would have been issues with the car anyway. You may also want to spend some time reflecting on your "outstanding 5-Star experience" which is more like 2-Stars if someone actually responds to an email or text.
