That is often an area of difficulty in the process. There are various reasons why a trade may not appraise in agreement with the owner. Sometimes mechanical, mileage, exterior or interior condition, current market value, can all be factors. Also, a dealer can seldom put the same value on a trade that the owner has. The owner has a history attached to the vehicle, memories, stories, and of course, there is always the reason why they have decided to trade it in. Your Customer Care Team Member - Sharon Dear Tyler505, We understand your concern regarding the amount of fuel in your vehicle. Most of our vehicles arrive with low amounts of fuel. Normally, when vehicles are shipped, it is preferred that they are shipped with the least amount of fuel possible. This helps keep the weight of a shipment down, which affects shipping costs, as well as avoids unnecessary amounts of flammables on board. To keep our prices as low as possible it has always been our policy to add a quarter tank of fuel to our vehicles. Imagine the cost of filling the tanks on 4,000+ vehicles, including trucks, suvs, exotics, and vehicles that require high octane fuels. Chances are, the prices would increase more than the amount it costs to fill your tank, not to mention the cost of the manpower involved in fueling every vehicle. We have policies in place that ensure we offer the lowest prices possible. We’ve found that most of our customers prefer saving thousands on the purchase of their vehicle and paying for the incidentals, like fuel, on their own. However, there should always be enough fuel to get you on your way, at least a quarter of a tank. It’s a little different with brand new cars because the manufacturer provides the cost to fill up the tanks. Good evening. I recently emailed you all about issues that arose when I took the car to the Nissan dealership today. It needs new front and rear brakes, a new engine drive belt, and the driver side door was not fixed correctly when it was in an accident.
