They tried to charge me $205 their "shop fee" to diagnose my car when the skip button on my steering wheel wasn't working with CarPlay. I was told that it was more than likely just a needed update to the sof my car when the skip button on my steering wheel wasn't working with CarPlay. I was told that it was more than likely just a needed update to the software. They wanted to charge me that fee when you can go on the Toyota website download the update software FOR FREE download it onto a USB and do the update yourself. NO ONE at the dealership told me that this was an option. I even tried calling the service manager and they have been dodging my calls. Saying that they'll call me back, and I never receive a call back. This is unethical practices. You should tell people that this is something they can do on their own. You wanted to charge me $205 for an update that took 10 minutes for me to do on my own and all I had to do was plug in a USB. Turn my car on and turn it off that is ridiculous. Do Better!!! More

I've had Hanlees do my my past three services with no problem. This time I brought my vehicle in a little prior to the service light going on since I was headed on a long road trip. About 300 +/- miles i problem. This time I brought my vehicle in a little prior to the service light going on since I was headed on a long road trip. About 300 +/- miles into the trip, my service light came on. Either they never set my vehicle for its next maintenance, or maybe you can't till the light comes on? If that's the case, then a very poor design from Toyota. I personally don't like going 10,000 miles between service, but I don't see than there is any way to set the maintenance light for less? More
