Okay, but remain confused why the Yuba City dealer had a different diagnosis on my truck. YC said I needed to replace brake fluids and had a severe oil leak. I brought my car in for an oil change and was quoted a 3 hour wait with an appointment. I felt that was ridiculous, but then could not believe when it took 4 and a half hours. They promised a car wash but apparently couldn’t manage that in the 4 and a half hours. More
Service person was annoyed at me for using a coupon for their minor service which was offered on their website with an expiration date of 6/30/2023. The service person then told me they would “honor their their minor service which was offered on their website with an expiration date of 6/30/2023. The service person then told me they would “honor their coupon this time” and would “take the coupon down immediately and not offer it in the future.” The service ended up costing $100 which was only $50 cheaper than their normal minor service price. I shouldn’t be made to feel like I did something wrong as a customer for bringing in and using a coupon they advertised on their website. More
Todays visit was to address a recall notice on a 2022 Telluride serpentine belt. Our vehicle was in for the 21,500 mile service a couple of weeks earlier. We had the recall notice at that time but the dealer did not have the belt in stock so we needed to schedule that replacement for a later date. We arrived at the service bay at the appointed time of 0830 hrs, Sean Taba came out to greet us, and since we had traveled over 30 miles from home and had no Plan B transportation, he assured us that the mechanics would “get on it” right away. Subsequently, my wife and I walked around the corner and ate breakfast during our wait. Upon our return approximately one hour later, our vehicle was parked in the service exit bay ready for the drive home. We are totally impressed with the excellent service including the courtesy service wash. As a footnote, this is the second Telluride purchased from Sean within one year. The first was a 2021 model. We then traded up to the 2022 Nightfall edition and are very satisfied with its performance. And a special thanks for Sean, Alex, and the finance department for making this a wonderful purchase. More
