I made an morning appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and new engine air filter. Got an appointment confirmation, and numerous reminders by text and email. When I arrived, I was told they did n rotation, and new engine air filter. Got an appointment confirmation, and numerous reminders by text and email. When I arrived, I was told they did not have the air filter in stock. As explained to me, my options were to wait there until a parts delivery truck arrived sometime in the afternoon, or come back a second time for work scheduled to take place on the first visit. I let my service tech know that both options were highly inconvenient. She eventually sent someone to Auto Zone to buy an air filter to complete the job on that visit. Two questions: Did I pay for a GM air filter when all I got was a knockoff? What is the point of specifying the services to be performed when making a reservation if the service requirements are not read by the service department (she said they don't read the reservations) and the required parts are not made available beforehand? More
