Even prior to coming, Bob spoke to me by phone, suggesting things I could try in order to save a trip in, but [age 69 hits again] & I couldn't resolve it, so I drove down there. I was greeted immediately by the team, was offered a ride home, and was told that any needed part should be delivered and switched out within the same day [also if I needed a return ride when finished to simply call them]. A couple hours later [nice weather day for a walk] my wife and I drove to Graff's in her vehicle, headed for a walk in Davison, but chose to stop by quickly for any update. Immediately, Gary saw me come in & told me that he was just ready to call me to return...no part needed...simple re-programming steps [which he slowly/patiently took time to demonstrate for my future knowledge]...very timely, patient, thorough care provided by all team members!!! Additionally...the safe-lite specialist had already fixed my windshield chip &.... when I simply [expecting no action] mentioned my wife's car having a windshield chip as well, within 15 minutes [while speaking with Gary further about the re-programming steps], my wife's windshield was all repaired and we were on our way. Thanks so much to ALL team workers involved for all 3 tasks, not simply '1', completed in a matter of several hours!!! More
Very pleased with the performance of the maintenance team. I keep coming back that should tell something about how I feel about the dealership and the folks that work there. team. I keep coming back that should tell something about how I feel about the dealership and the folks that work there. More
I used to be happy with Graff service, especially working with a service rep that is no longer employed by the dealership. My most recent experience was buying tires and a 4-wheel alignment in December 2023. with a service rep that is no longer employed by the dealership. My most recent experience was buying tires and a 4-wheel alignment in December 2023. One (or more) tire was a defective. Graff agreed and did a load force balance to overcome the defect. It worked - sort of. I still had a faint pulsating noise at high speeds (not present prior to the change) and a pull to the right. The Graff service manager said, "no issue found" and Graff officially washed their hands of it. (I had a similar issue with tires on a brand-new Malibu years ago. Issues with the tires out of the gate, dealer spent a little time and declared - no issue found. 2 years later and fed up with the pulsating, I bought new tires and magically, the issue disappeared.) In September, 2024, I had another shop do a 4-wheel alignment on the car and the pull to the right magically disappeared. I still have the faint pulsating noise at high speeds with which I am stuck. I guess that can live with it, since I have no choice. The car in question is a 2013 Impala. It is in very good condition, needing more maintenance in its golden years. Since the Graff service rep's declaration of no issue, I have spent $2,396.65 at another shop in town. My other car, a 2006 Monte Carlo, that is also in excellent condition, now also goes to the independent shop for maintenance. $1,921.11 in maintenance dollars since my beef about the Impala tires. Bottom Line: Defective new tires do exist. Technology can't put a band-aid on all of them. Sometimes the retailer needs to bite the bullet, send them back to the manufacturer and install new, non-defective tires. I may end up at Graff again; when something occurs with one of my cars that only a dealer shop can fix. More
it is the little things that drive me crazy about bringing my Tahoe in for service to Hank Graff, the old sticker was left on the windshield from last oil change, The vehicle was in tow mode when I p bringing my Tahoe in for service to Hank Graff, the old sticker was left on the windshield from last oil change, The vehicle was in tow mode when I picked it up. The set cover and floor mat for service was left in the vehicle. This is about the third time I have had little things that were not done at this dealership. Last time it was the oil message was not reset and there was no new sticker put in the window the time before that. Also it would be nice if they would give you a heads up that the price of an oil change has increased. More
