I have purchased 5 Hyundais over the years, both in North Carolina and New Hampshire. We have had excellent luck and are satisfied with the various vehicles. This is not a joke. On April 1, 2023, I brought one of the vehicles to Hampton Ford Hyundai for an oil change. We always buy the extended service play upon recommendation of the sales and finance dealership people. Today, I checked in and went to the waiting room. I also requested they look at Apple Play because the icon was not allowing my iPhone to connect. I wanted the hour. When it was time to check out, I was informed at this time, not before when I checked in, that my service plan had expired. Not was said at the last oil change. The service person also had the tires rotated for me, which was included in the plan before. I was hit with a bill of over $60. I was shocked that I was not informed prior that the plan was expired as he checked that I was using the plan. He offered no excuse or reasoning for telling me. Also, he informed me he did not know what was wrong with the Apple Play. Had I learned all this, I would have gone to a local shop for the oil change and not play the extremely outrageous dealership fees. I am so glad our newest Hyundai was not purchased at Hampton, and all future vehicles will never be there. This is a warning to everyone else. Do Not Trust This Dealership. More
