I walked into the dealership looking for a limited edition Beetle convertible. What I really wanted was a hard top convertible WITH a sunroof and a quiet ride with the top up or down. Ready to walk out of the dealership without a purchase, that I really didn't need anyway, Craig Comfort, my salesman, asked me what I was looking for in a car. Long story short, he introduced me to the VW EOS. When I saw the hard top move in and out of position, well, that was enough for me. Then, I drove the car and it was everything I was seeking in a car. Fun, quiet on the road, good looking and within my price range. Sounds like a good catch, I know...the car I mean. The financing was a great deal. Craig worked the numbers with my trade-in and the bottom line price of the car. It was a no brainer. I was going home in a brand new beautiful car that was fun to drive and easy on the eyes. Working with Craig was a pleasure and he literally made it all happen. From a Beetle to an EOS...priceless. We were greeted by Craig Comfort once we arrived and right away we felt very comfortable with him. We had been through a bad experience with our last salesman at another dealership so Craig was a nice change. His selling style was exactly what we needed to help us make a decision that we would be happy with. He helped us feel more comfortable about venturing back to VW with his knowledge and honesty about the vehicles. He presented options and pricing that was straight forward with no tricks or games. Craig made the purchase of the car very easy for us and went out of his way to work with us on limited time considering we had to work around our childs schedule. We loved the no pressure sales that we experienced with working with Craig, that was the key of his success with us. I feel that working with Craig that we worked out the perfect deal. I left the purchase feeling that both parties walked away very satisfied with the final sale. I hope that people read this review and will come in to Hamilton VW and speak with Craig Comfort and walk away with the same satisified experience that we left with. More
Craig is most certainly an outgoing and persistent salesman. He approached my sale in friendly manner, seeming most concerned with understanding exactly what I wanted in a car. Despite my wonderful price on the car however, the overall process turned out to be somewhat stressful. I suppose I felt blindsighted when I learned that the delivery of my car was achieved by driving it to my dealership and was even more caught offguard to learn the mechanics who do the Pre-delivery Inspection took my car for a joyride to purchase their greasy lunch. As any customer would likely be, I was insulted and upset. However, Craig maintained a level of professionalism and understanding during the experience that was integral in resolving such issues and restoring my comfort in pursuing the deal. More
Craig did a fabulous job locating the exact car I was looking for. The dealership went out of its way to make me feel comfortable and to work with me while I was selling my previous car. They did not use high pressure, but spent their time speaking to my wife and I about the quality of the car and the value of the TDI. When I received the car, Craig spent 45 inutes going over all the features and making sure that everything worked and that I knew how to use them. I will definitely recommend the dealership and Craig to purchase your next car. More

I was in the market for a 2009 VW Passat. I started the process online by requesting several quotes from VW dealers in my area. Craig is definitely a VW enthusiast, he is very knowledgeable about the cars, and was very helpful. He truly wanted to sell me the right car for me, not just make a sale. As matter of fact he talked me out of the first car I wanted and into a car that had less options. He recognized that I shouldn't purchase rear side airbags since I have small children. I appreciated that very much!! It was more like talking with another VW guy than a salesman. I've found that many salespeople don't care to know their product line nor seem to care about their customers. Not the case with Craig! It was a pleasure. No hassles, stress free! More
This was my first time buying a car from a dealership. My previous car came from a private seller. It was a wonderful experience working with him. He was not the typical, pushy salesman. Rather, he was very knowledgable, personable, and genuinely interested in making sure all my needs were met. I did not feel like I was being sold to, which made my car buying experience better than I ever expected. I purchased an '08 Jetta from Craig and could not be happier! More
Worst salesmen i ever dealt with, and ive dealt with a lot. The good reviews about him on this site must be written my Craig himself. Craig was very instrumental in getting a sale and getting the best car for us at the same time. We went in looking for a hatchback and when we were not satisfied with the Rabbit he suggested Getta wagon, whi the best car for us at the same time. I had not been planning to purchase a new car but was forced to since a broken timing belt ruined the engine of my 2002 Passat. The service department was very helpful and took the time to explain in detail what needed to be done if I was going to repair my car. Craig worked very hard to help me through the disappointment of having to trade my Passat. He even managed to get me excited about my new unanticipated purchase.
