The MOST positive experience in buying a new car that i have ever had! I had sent out feelers to 9 Honda dealers to the attention of their internet coordinators. I got 9 internet prices back. Many deale have ever had! I had sent out feelers to 9 Honda dealers to the attention of their internet coordinators. I got 9 internet prices back. Many dealer talk a good game about matching others if it is in writing, which i had. I had one dealer who gave me an excellent price so that was my benchmark that others had to at least match, etc. Some dealers wrote back and said that it did not include destination of 710 but it did, so i confirmed with the dealer who sent me a low price and asked for his drive away price, which was to include tax, tags, fees, etc. I forwarded that drive away price to Phil, the internet manager at Hamilton, and he matched it. He even had to lower his base price by about $130 since NJ had higher doc fees, etc. than PA and did this so that the bottom line matched what the PA dealer gave me. Funny, when i went in, Phil was busy with another customer and one of his intenet sales persons took care of me (Joe) and we did the paperwork in about 45 minutes. The facility is new, state of the art, the free oil changes for life is a great perk, etc. I had previously bought 2 Hondas at Piazza in Langhorne over the years and they pulled some crap with dealer installed options which were way overpriced and even higher than what they advertised ont their own website. My 16 year old daughter, who the car is for, was thrilled, learned a valuable lesson about integrity from Hamilton (or lack of it from Piazza) and know that if she remains in the area after college, she will be a Hamilton customer, etc. I could not rave more about this. I never even met Phil until after the deal was signed! All dialog was done on the internet so no pressure, etc. Just make sure you go on the internet to get other dealers' offers and then go see Phil or Joe at Hamilton! To me, their efforts were 200% positive. We got a fantastic deal and are looking forward to servicing our Honda's there. More
(Former NFL player & now NFL coach) This was my FIRST every Honda vehicle! My wife and I purchased the car from Hamilton Honda in NJ. The owners Jessie & Mike and their staff were awesome to us! The ser every Honda vehicle! My wife and I purchased the car from Hamilton Honda in NJ. The owners Jessie & Mike and their staff were awesome to us! The service was unreal and by the time we stepped into the vehicle, we were blown away! It's roomy, nice looking and powerful enough to dart out into this crazy NJ/NYC traffic! Unlike other cars on the road today, this car looks totally different in a good way. We had one of the first Ford Expeditions in Charlotte, NC in the fall of 1996 and people were looking at us like we were aliens. The same thing is happening to us again with the Honda Crosstour! I'm 6'2" 250lbs and I have no problems getting in and out of this car. The back seat has lots of leg room even for me! If you are looking for something different from what's out on the road today, then Honda Crosstour is the way to go! Hamilton Honda in South Jersey has the best deals going! (Lifetime free oil change & car wash when you buy from them but most of all the SERVICE!!!) Special note to Mike Fanning (GSM) who walked me through this wonderful experience-THANKS!!! More
I had a mixed experience with Hamilton Honda. The sales staff was generally friendly, and helpful (though they did provide some incorrect information on the model I was considering). They have nice servic staff was generally friendly, and helpful (though they did provide some incorrect information on the model I was considering). They have nice service incentives (like free oil changes and car washes) if you are local. I am not-- more on that in a moment. We came to agreement on a reasonable price for the car and my trade in. Before going in to finalize the deal, I called to confirm that they would be able to deal with a Massachusetts registration and that they would be able to take the trade-in even though I did not have the title in hand (it was at home in MA). The salesperson assured me that he could do both. When I went in and started to deal with getting the car insured, I learned otherwise. Various people at the dealership were called in to sort out the details of the MA registration (sales, managers, dmv, etc). None of them could figure out how to make it work. Since I was planning to finance through Honda, my insurer recommended that they get the bank involved as they would know how to deal with the issue. The dealership was determined to figure it out on their own, though. In the end they gave up and the deal fell through. What really annoyed me, though, was that they told me the reason for the failed deal was because I did not have the title for my trade-in in hand. The whole ordeal was a frustrating waste of time-- especially since I had raised all of these issues before I went in and they had told me it would be no problem. Perhaps this is because they are a relatively new dealership. Hopefully they will figure out how to work with MA registration procedures at some point in the future. In certainly didn't happen in the hours I spent there... More
We had a very pleasant experience with Hamilton Honda. Our salesman and finance manager were very professional and there was no high pressure sales tactics. The price we negotiated was in line with what w Our salesman and finance manager were very professional and there was no high pressure sales tactics. The price we negotiated was in line with what we wanted to pay. One pleasant change was that we originally took the extended warranty, however, we decided to cancel it when we brought the final payment to the dealership. Our finance manager offered to lower the price but we ultimately decided against it and he re-wrote our purchase order without the extended warranty. No questions asked! We also got lifetime oil changes and car washes which was a nice touch. If this is the way they intend to do business, I would definitely recommend them. More
Matt Savoy was wonderful to work with- unfortunately, the management was nasty and unrelenting- we ended up ripping up the papers and walking out- four minutes later, when we got home, there was an apology m management was nasty and unrelenting- we ended up ripping up the papers and walking out- four minutes later, when we got home, there was an apology message- blaming our slaesman(who was fine- his management team was rude and pompus and told us to leave b/c other dealers couldn't match them) the cal told us to come back and they would "do it our way"- We promptly traveld 15 minutes up the road to Willis Honda in Burlington- where they were courteous and respectful- we will be picking up our Honda Civic tomorrow- Hamilton Honda told us to leave over $300 literally $300. They not only lost our business, but our word that we pass along. WE traded in our 1998 honda accord with 222,730 miles- there was very little to be done to sell us on a car- theyh not only lost us, they told us to leave! More
